The fourteenth amendment gives the fed the ability to enforce the bill of rights on the state level as far as I've heard :-) If it's not so then he isn't upholding what the founders intended by saying people have rights under the constitution. The second is abortion. He says the fetus is a person and then what about amend 5?

Well, I still don't like Romney but he's spot on with this ad. It's a nifty chain...liberals fleece the taxpayer and give billions to unions (Government Motors, anyone) who then in turn donate exclusive to democrats...and all at the expense of the taxpayer! And jamesawshaw, you lied and you know it's a lie, especially with how the case was dropped after Boeing caved. If you're going to lie, at least don't tell a stupid one, it offends the intelligence, you know.

This ad is a major factual misstatement. The NLRB's case against Boeing (which is over and old news) had absolutely nothing to do with South Carolina being a right-to-work state. Nothing. I defy any reader of this comment to indentify a single fact (emphasis on "fact") that supports Romney's claims. His willingness to make the claim is dishonest pandering of the worst kind. Not presidential material. But it's OK, knowing good 'ol Mitt Flop, his pro-NLRB commercial is coming soon.

I fully agree. To have unions and the government tell a company like Boeing what they can and can't do, where "the government" tells a company they can't biuld where they see fit, is WRONG on all fronts. My jaw drops as I ask "How in the hell did we as Americans allow this to happen?"
