  • so glad I found your channel! I have the SAME type of skin issues (dryness under eyes, cheek redness) I havent found anything to really help with the redness =( Right now Im using a serum by Darphin, its supposed to treat the redness. Im not seeing much improvement. I will be looking to try the green primer you reviewed as well as the organic eye cream! Thank you so much!

  • @scardonsky Darphin products are awesome! My mother used it for a bit so I got to try them. Instead of the green primer, try Koh Gen Doh's yellow primer if your redness is near the center of your face. You can find it on Barney's website :)

  • how are you maintaining your beautiful tan? are you tanning or using a self tanner?

  • @chyeamooya I'm not tanning and I'm not using self-tanner! That's just how my skin is, stubborn :) I only use self-tanner on my legs or stomach during the summer.

  • READ ME

will you do a starter makeup kit for 11year olds that is cheap?? please

  • Hi Rae:) what primer would you recommend to oily skin? I'm still looking for my holly grail:)

,thankyou so much for your amazing videos,i love them(:

  • @shanty215 Laura Mercier's Mineral Primer or Hourglass Veil Mineral are great for oily skin!

  • what is ur real eye color?

  • 3:30 spontaneous british accent! hahaha thanks for the great reviews :D

  • i love your channel!

  • you're so smart

  • Hi Rae, I purchased three EB lipstick, two in old packaging and one in new packaging. Yes the old packaging DOES rub against the tubes, which is a little bit annoying. However, the new packaging does NOT! l) btw the shade "Nude Lotus" is super suitable for light skin! I am Asian with pale skin, and I love it!

  • @laurielin1992 Yes, I just purchased Rose Demure and it doesn't rub! Woohoo!

  • Hi I absolutely love your reviews and you are doing an awesome job! Question - the eye serum do you know where it is made from? Thanks in advance:)

  • ty soo much

  • Hello!! New subscriber here :) I LOVE yestyle but was afriad to try their cosmetics.. The only clothing brands I like are oopslady and sometimes puffy... Anyways- awesome video!!

  • and DIORSNOW D-NA serum and DIORSNOW DNA Reverse Concentrate doesnt work if u use them following by the Lancome vissionaire! cuz the vissionaire is a serum/concentrate too which doesnt work if u put nother serum/constrt!

  • @Tahsin1902 Visionnaire isn't a serum, it's a treatment :) I asked my Lancome ladies and they said it'd be okay. The DNA serum just replaces my Genifique in my nightly routine :)

  • pleasseee do a makeup tutorial? looks so beautiful

  • Hi Rae...sorry for the question before, i am missed typing at a wrong place, i meant this makeup tutorial....would you please do for this look?? thanks... :)

  • I think you bought a defective stila eyeliner!

  • @iloveemonica No, it's not defective at all! I asked the sales associate when I returned it the other day and she said the Stila liner gets returned often for the reason I stated in the video :)

  • You look like Yuri from SNSD

  • Hey! I'm new to your channel and I really like your videos :) I just wanted to ask one thing: $20 for the Elnett Hairspray?!?!? I ALWAYS buy that and it doesn't cost me more than $15, even with tax. Try checking out the coupons in the newspapers, they always have good coupons for L'oreal products.

  • @Norex25 CVS is always more expensive than Target or WalMart but yes, I really paid $19 and change for the Elnett hairspray!

  • Your reviews are so comprehensive and informative! Also your skin looks amaaazziing~!

  • hey rae. i know a longgg time ago you mentioned you were looking for a hairstylist in OC area.. Where did you end up going? I really like your hair! thankss

  • I LOVE REVLON LIP BUTTERS!!!!!!

  • Hey rae! love your videos! Have you ever heard of Geisha Ink? They make them here in Canada. I have been using their pen tip eyeliner. It costs $30 CND, doesn't smudge and is waterproof had has a very fine tip. The tip is more flexible than the stila one. But yes its cheaper than the Hourglass script liner and it lasts for a long time. I bought mine at the beginning of augest and it is just starting to dry out now. Check it out if you can I thnikk you'd like it

  • @jocelynslai No, I haven't! I'll be sure to look into it. I'm sorry to hear your Hourglass liner has dried out already. They really need to sort out that packaging issue!

  • Does your sister have a YouTube channel? I also have oily skin and would like to hear her thoughts on products.

  • Hi Rae, could you please make a review on the D&G quad you are wearing in this video? xx

  • @laurielin1992 Yes, I'll review it on my blog soon! Let me just say now that I don't think it's worth the money :(

  • your eyes look extremely natural and beautiful in this video! stay pretty! (:

  • Do you know when the Sigma Cities Collection will be launched internationally? All 4 sets look very pretty, but I guess I would go for the New York set, it's so classic. I live in Germany and the new Synthetic Brushes were just released here.

  • @ChromeDokuro13 I can't say for sure! Their customer service department is excellent, though, so just shoot them an email and ask!

  • i so need to do a favorites videos, just on a project 10 pan at the moment, so trying to save my money for christmas presents!

  • hey rae could you tell me if you have any burning with the eyecream? I have the same kind of problems with my eyes as you do but I have tried a ton of products and I have had burning with a lot of them! Thanks so much!

  • @scarletfire28 No, no stinging whatsoever!

  • thank you for a great review! I use the stila stay all day and I really like it because i didn't transfer onto my lid but I do hate how it smears on the corner and that the brush gets really fuzzy so it makes it hard to draw a good wing after a while =/ going to check out the hour glass one you mentioned to see how that will work! =) hope you had a wonderful thanksgiving!

  • @daisylove03 It's definitely a costly splurge but my sister says it's worth it! I hope you had a lovely Thanksgiving as well :)

  • LOVE THIS! <3

Be sure to watch my first upload on SKIN CARE TIPS, and give feedback? :)

  • Please keep us updated with the Diorsnow product! Sounds very interesting.

  • Hi Rae! First off you are beautiful and wonderful. Also can you do a video on how you trim your brows. They are very well groomed:) Thank you.

  • hi Rae...please do a makeup tutorial that your worn???pleaseee...

  • i went to target today wanting to get a lip butter but they didnt have any!! i just got a color burst!! it was half off

  • @serler123 I'm sorry to hear that! Try a Rite Aid or CVS :)

  • i went to target today wanting to get a lip butter but they didnt have any!! i just got a color burst!! it was half off

  • Rae, could you please please please do a video/tutorial on different skin types and how to understand skin areas & problems? You seem to know a lot about that kind of thing, you always look so polished.

  • can anyone tell me how you see pores on your face?

  • you're hair looks perfect did you had your haircut alreadyy?

  • @laughallyouwant17 No, I have decided to grow it out instead of cutting it!

  • you're soooo prettyyy!

  • Hi, i know theres a lot of diff. Foundations out there, but which one do you think hands down its the top foundation that looks natural and not cakey? Thanks:)

  • I just love to hear you talking!

  • I love your make up you worn. So natural yet chic enough! It's getting so cold here in Kr and feels warm to see you in sleeveless top!

  • @eugenleeny When I'm filming, the lighting makes me very warm! Outside, we have to wear sweaters and jackets, too ;)

  • did you get a nosejob?

  • @xoyo88 No, I did not.

  • hey rae have you ever tried the tresemme tres 2 hair spray? it's VERY cheap (around $2 at walmart) and while it doesn't make the hair feel completely natural, i've NEVER had any issues with it leaving a white residue/giving my hair white flakes when i brush out my hair. i'm also asian and i have the same hair type as you. you should give it a try! i know elle fowler likes that hair spray among manyy other women

  • @thegateau I've tried a travel sized version of a Tresemme hair spray but I paid $5! I'll take a look, thank you :)

  • I have the same problem with my body parts being different colors because I tan sooooo fast. I found that Nivea moisturizing tanning lotion works really well for me. I use it like a moisturizer after a shower on the lighter parts on my body and it dries pretty fast. It doesn't have that orangey color that most tanners have. I use the darkest one to try and match the rest of my body to my arms.

  • @duritwin88 I've tried the Jergens but didn't realize Nivea made a tanning lotion, too! I'll stop by and take a look. Thank you!

  • woo hoo November Favorites! <3

i need to pick up that eye cream!

  • You're sooo sweet & gorgeous!! :)

    xoxo

    ~Style Emphasis

  • Every armani lipstick i have rubs on the tube :( i end up having to apple with both sides to put it back in place

  • @loopylilmeeh No way! I'm sorry to hear that :(

  • Love all ur stuff this month!!!

Omg Rae it's dec !! That means ur cookbook is coming soon !! Can't wait !

  • @1indaC Yes, but plans have changed and my twin sister and I are actually going to film the lookbook together first. She's close friends with the photographer so I had to oblige her request :) We're going to make it as cute as possible!

  • Rae, I was wondering if you could review the Naked2 palette from Urban Decay. And maybe do a comparison/contrast between Naked2 and Naked. I don't have either, and I'm unsure whether I should buy the original or the new one.

  • <3 the FOTD, very, very pretty! enjoy this video very much. THanks ^ ^

  • Have you tried Kiehl's avocado eye cream?

  • @mzcarolyn Yes, but I'm not a fan of the tacky texture!

  • I have no issues watching your videos from start to finish, because you're so well-spoken and informative :)

  • Does the Jeune d'Age eye cream have anti-aging/anti-wrinkle properties too? Even though its name is young of age...haha

  • Does the Jeune d'Age eye cream have anti-aging/anti-wrinkle properties too? Even though its name is young of age...haha

  • Does the Jeune d'Age eye cream have anti-aging/anti-wrinkle properties too? Even though its name is young of age...haha

  • do you fake tan ? or is that your natural color..if so i'm jelly :)

  • @piggiesmalls4 No, I don't ever fake tan and I'm naturally fair :) The Jeune d'Age eye cream does have a few anti-aging properties. Check out their site for all the details!

  • you look so extra pretty in this video <33

  • I am loving your hair colour and style! My hair (being the typical Asian) is currently the awful, fried brown and no where as glossy as yours :( You are now my inspiration to dye it black :)

Just 2 questions: 1) How do you get your bangs to sit so lovely like?

    2) Is that just a standard black dye? I will be going to the salon for my colour.

Thank you Rae! Love from Melbourne, Australia

  • @MsCat3333 My bangs naturally sit like that! If I mess with them too much, they actually look worse so I leave them alone :) And I initially colored it slightly darker than my natural hair to counteract the effects of the bleach I had used to lighten my hair so now the color is perfect! It is indeed a solid black, no blue or red or purple tones.

  • Real negative

  • how do you make your skin more pale?

  • hi babe. I am looking for an eye cream that is not overly rich (i am in my early 20s), which ones would u recommend =D?

  • I really like your nail polish color!

  • i love the natural look on you! <3

  • Do you ever think of making your own makeup line, skincare products? Because you're just so good at highlighting the pros and cons of any product and suggesting better ways to improve them! :D

  • @sashatter Eventually, that is the goal ;)

  • When the lip butters came out there was a lot of them at walgreens. Like tons of them. And they weren't even in a special display.

  • every time I see a video from you Rae, I jump a little :)

  • i really wanted a legitimate whitening cream for my skin, not to lighten, but to fix my hyper pigmentation with my Indian complexion, but can't drop $145 on Dior DiorSnow Night Concentrate! I wish! :D

  • please update us with the lighten freckle/sunspot products! I'm still trying to find the right product to lighten it!

  • i just showed your videos to my friend and she agreed that you're absolutely gorgeous hahaha :)

  • honey, why do u want to be fair again? u are gorgeous with tan skin :)

    love the vids as always

  • Elnett really smells!!

  • How do you get your hair so shiny?!

  • Brushes on the Temptu primer and other similar products are unsanitary. Good call on not using it.

  • dusk looks amazing! tutorial please. you look really beautiful today :)

my face is disturbingly red and i use smashbox's green primer which noticeable reduces my redness however i destest the texture. it scales under each one of my foundations!! can you recommend a better green primer?

    xx

  • I can't believe your hairspray was so much! I am from the uk and it is only about £6, as I have that one. For once something is cheaper here than in the US xD

  • You are sooo pretty! Everytime I see your videos in my subscriptions box I always choose your videos over everyone else's...the only other person who achieves this awesome feat is Lisa Eldridge haha I'm glad you found the Revlon lip butters non-hydrating because I kept thinking they were being overhyped!

  • what black eyeliner do you recommend? I use MAC black track but it keeps smearing to my top lid

  • What are you wearing on your lips?

    You are so beautiful!

    Do you fake tan?

I am so happy Ingrid send me to your channel!

  • @MakeMeShine100 Thanks for stopping by! All the make-up I'm wearing can be found in the post, linked in the description box :) And no, I don't fake tan - I tan too easily as is!

  • I know u been doin this for a long time and I wonder do u get tired of doin this sometimes. If u stop doin this I might have a lil bit of withdrawal. Anyways thanks.

  • omg Rae!! I read Sabrina's blog from the beautylookbook on meeting Edward Bess, and he looks gorgeous but also so familiar to me...is it me or doesn't he look like the prince in Beauty and the Beast lol (the French guy that the Beast becomes after transforming to normal) this is so random I know, but I need validation here! What do you think?!! :) Oh and I love your look here simple and cute! :)

  • @humakb It's the hair! I know what you mean ;)

  • Hi, Rae.....please do a tutorial for youre makeup worn...please...like it a lot... :)

  • i LOVE your look in this.

  • Wow! the mark up on Elnett is amazing! I paid £8 for 2 400ml cans, I think that's about $13? I think I'm going to have to go out and give Visionaire a try! xxx

  • I had to stop wearing the lip butters -- which made me sad - but they dried out my lips soooo much! Great brush set tips - thanks! Your makeup always looks spectacular -- I love how subtle and well blended your eye makeup looks.

  • I have that same problem with the outer eye area smudging with wp liquid eyeliner so... do you have a list of eyeliners that work?

  • Oh my Gosh, 20 $ for the Elnett Spray? I live in Germany and here everything is extremly expensive, but this is like 4 € or so. Even the big Bottle is like 6 €.

  • I LOVE the stilla eyeliner! i wear mine in a cat eye all the time and i have never had a smudging issue. it makes me sad you gave it a bad review, because for me it is a must have!

  • I could tell you were rushing because it came out to be 15 minute favorites video but, I think even if you made a 30 minute video, I would be able to listen and watch you go through each and every product without getting sick of hearing your voice and your detailed explanation of each product. I adore your videos. They're so helpful and well organized and you articulate your words so well.

  • @carolinehkim92 Most people dislike 15min+ videos so yes, I rushed to try and fit everything in :) Thanks for your support! <3

  • Hey! Saw your review on Laneige Green Primer.. I heard Biotherm Green Primer is really good. Any idea if it's reffective to even out redness?

  • In Europe Elnett is one of the cheaper brands... It's around 5 euro, mostly even less then 5... Really weird how different the prices can be!

  • K-pallete liquid eyeliner is super black and super waterproof! You should try it! And btw it's an asian eyeliner:) It's available in Sasa..

  • @bubblychicdell I do own that one :)

  • I must admit, I HATE how you edit your videos. It's very distracting.

  • If u are naturally tan would u still use the dior skin whitening product?

  • @mandykq18 I'm not naturally tan, though, and I don't use the Dior Whitening skincare because I want to be fair. I use it to target my hyperpigmentation!

  • wow your hair looks very sleek for non-straightened hair! and it's great that your favourites videos are longer, i'm pretty much bed-ridden due to pharyngitis and a cold to boot so it's great to just be able to sit down and watch a nice long raeview video with a warm drink! thanks for introducing the jeune d'age eye cream, i'm noticing some fine lines appear along the bottom of my eyes so i'll definitely look into some eye creams for hydration :)

  • @dotoriori Oh, no! I hope you'll feel better soon <3

  • You look gorgeous as usual(: random question, what are some of your favorite dior lipsticks???

  • Hi Rae! Are the travel Sigma brushes just the same exact quality of the full sized ones? Also, how small are they compared to the full sized brushes?

  • @yvettebb0913 Yes, and you can check my blog to see photos comparing the sizes :)

  • I AGREE!!~ The year is going sooo fasstttt!!~ *sigh*

  • I love your tattoo!

    What does it mean?

  • LOVE IT WHEN YOU LAUGH AND SMILE! THANKS FOR THE REVIEWS!

  • I have extremely dry and sensitive lips as well. What lip balm/conditioner or chapstick would you recommend? I've used mac lip conditioner and most of the drug store ones but none amazes me. Thanks Rae!

  • @lilogirl630 Right now, I use Laura Mercier Lip Silk as an overnight treatment and Jack Black lip balm during the day. I'm thinking of switching back to La Mer's balm during the day, though, because the JB isn't consistent for me!

  • Do you suggest particular primers for oily skin?

  • @ollicehunter Hourglass Veil Mineral is great for oily skin!

  • PLZ answer! LOL im looking for a natural brown circle lens. which do you recommend? I want something to brighten up my dark chocolate eyes without it looking to obvious that i have contacts on.

  • @BellaM4 I haven't found that perfect pair of brown lenses yet, sorry! Once I do, I'll write a review.

  • oh! my favourite type of video is favourite video!!!!!

  • oh! my favourite type of video is favourite video!!!!!

  • I ABSOLUTELY love your nail polish!!! Such a pretty color! I think I may just go to rescue beauty lounge and order it very soon!!!

  • @goodmrngcali31 I was debating for so long but I'm glad I took the plunge :)

  • please do a tutorial on this look you have in this video...looks so natural yet classy on you!

  • Hello Rae, these brushes from Sigma do look great and practical for travel! By any chance, have you had a chance to check out this year's mini brushes collection set from Chanel? Would like to know what you think and see if I should get them before it gets sold out.

  • @aralegacchan No, they're just as terrible as last year's. I got mine two years ago and the quality is just unbelievably subpar now. I'd skip them and try a different brand, like Dior!

  • You need to try the Neosporin Lip Health. It claims to repair lips in 3 days and omg it really does! I've been using it for about a month and I can't imagine my life without it.. which is why I'm so upset right now because I CAN'T FIND IT! :(

  • @QuartzCrystalSparkle I tried that before and it didn't work :(

  • where do you get your contacts ? :]

  • Rae, are the revlon lip butters limited edition? Thank you for taking your time to film these awesome hits & misses! :)

  • @Oinkoinkmeow1 From what I have heard, the official answer is no, they are not LE. I just posted the swatches on my blog!

  • wow I did not not know about the fine lines being just hydration problems before! ..... I was going to buy like clair de pu for my eyes cus the fine lines were driving me insane and im only 19. Thanks for the info!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @spritedrin You're very welcome!!

  • You are glowing in this video!

  • Elnet is nearly $20?! Australian prices are practically double American ones, and our Elnet is $10 standard - and frequently discounted. That price is just ridiculous! And thanks for reviewing the Laneige primer, I've been looking for something for my super dry, reddened skin!

  • @alexii188 I don't know why it is! Does your Elnett bottle look like the one I showed? And if you have very dry skin, it might perform beautifully on you, good luck!

  • I bought the loreal etnett hairspray at target about a month ago for only $2 dollars. They were having a sale so I've been wanting that hairspray for the longest time. I like saving my money so I was really lucky to have found it on sale. Sometimes cvs has sales too.

  • How do you feel about the overall quality of the london set? soft? shedding? dense?

  • @JJar18 Yes, soft and no shedding thus far!

  • how long did it take for you to see some good results from the vissionaire?

  • @jeannnebeaarrr I saw results overnight with Visionnaire!

  • @RAEview thank you for answering my question! ;] i just recently purchased the visionnaire and i have been trying it out for a week. i am not sure if there are any apparent results yet, but i was also wondering how long do you think the bottle is going to last (since it is a tiny bottle for such an expensive product)?

  • @jeannnebeaarrr I've had mine for over 3 months now and I use it daily. After the first night, I could see my pores had become significantly smaller. I use anywhere from one to three pumps!

  • Hey Rae! I was wondering if you have the new Laura Mercier Face Illuminator (that rose gold sheen) and your thoughts on it :)

  • @feifus Yes, I picked it up but haven't had time to try it yet!

  • totally love your look in this video, could you please let us know which contact lenses are you wearing and where can we get it? thank you so much!!

  • @alicia11kong It's always listed in the post in the description box :)

  • I used that Dior Snow night time serum before! It smells SOOOOO GOOD!!! It is quite expensive but it does add more luminosity to the skin for me. It also made my face brighter too when I use to use it. I bought it to use on my scars but I find it better for making the skin more luminous rather than erasing the scars or sun spots. Hope you have better luck with it than me! :)

  • @XxLangDuxX Aww, thanks! At least it did something good for you, right? :)

  • Is the look you're wearing in this video your "everyday make-up routine?" It looks so simple, yet so pretty!

  • If it makes your lips peel, did you try using a lip primer first to see if that could help?

  • @nickloveskangin Most lip primers actually irritate my lips more :(

  • ahaha at 3:30 you sounded British:)

  • I love how you're so informative and honest!
