@Cole3402 If you want to get technical... all hearts, except the princesses of hearts', have some darkness in them. Even Sora's, even Mickey's. Vanitas was part of Ven's heart, so technically, him too. It's just that some peoples' darkness is stronger than others.
@ShinFurevindo well that's a jog in the memory...anyways if vanitas is 100% in kh3d then ven will still have a fractured heart aND killing vanitas will either make ven wake or maybe even something worse...what so ever anyways thats to be learned in the furture...

@kingdomheartsfan96 the reason why they don't bring the final mix games over here is because square enix is afraid it won't sell as well, since it's essentially a remake of the same games with some extra details. but they are considering bringing kh: birth by sleep final mix over here. i guess they've learned that there are some pretty dedicated fans over here just like in japan.
It's not to late for the KH 1+2 final mix. All they would have to do is relaese it as a bundle set for the ps2 or put it on one disk for one of the current systems (if for the Wii they could bundle it with a special edition classic controller). I know I would buy it the moment it would be released. Thumbs up if you agree!

The picture does lie, Terra's armor is left with a lingering sentiment, a longing to return to the true owner and keyblade master, Terra! All is left is hatred for Master Xehanort.
This theme is very tragic and what I picture is Terra fighting with all he has but with the overwhelming cloud of defeat hovering over him. He will lose himself, his friends, ... and all that he cares about.

@MandoKeybladeMaster I doubt any of the optional boss fights can be considered canon. If you think about it, it makes no sense at all for Sora Donald and Goofy to wander into Disney castle before fighting Xemnas, and there being a portal leading them to the keyblade graveyard to fight the LS. It talks about Ven, and Aqua and it's hatred of Master Xehanort, it wouldn't add up at that point in time. That stuff is going to be saved for KH3.

In the final mix they added more stuff like you could fight the whole organization and you fight Terra (the guy in the picture) who's a billion times harder than sephiroth, and it also adds more story to it. Look up KH2 secret ending and you'll see what I mean.

The picture does lie, Terra's armor is left with a lingering sentiment, a longing to return to the true owner and keyblade master, Terra! All is left is hatred for Master Xehanort.
This theme is very tragic and what I picture is Terra fighting with all he has but with the overwhelming cloud of defeat hovering over him. He will lose himself, his friends, ... and all that he cares about.

The reason (to me) for the Birth By Sleep version being superior to this one is because, from how I can hear it, the bass is too high on this one, so the melody sort of disappears at the good parts of the song. o: But hey. In general it's pure badass so what am I mumbling about. XD

Did they use the above image in the actual game, or was it scrapped since it wasn't a PS2 title? And did Sora's battle with LS take place, storyline wise, before Xemnas's battle? And I don't mean the post-Xemnas unlocking mumbo jumbo, I mean the chronology.

@MandoKeybladeMaster don't take my word for it, but i thought nomura stated that the fight never happened. i think that's bullcrap tho. as for chronology, i have no idea when it took place. I assume it WAS after Xemnas was defeated. just a wild guess tho.

@MandoKeybladeMaster I think it's possible that the battle with Terra took place, since *SPOILER ALERT* at the end of Terra's story Terra's armor (with his spirit still inside) stayed at the Keyblade Graveyard, while Master Xehanort went and became Ansem the Wise's Secretary, who in turn tried to release Kingdom Hearts. So I think it's possible.

However, Terra's soul continues to linger in his discarded suit of Armor, which comes to life and defeats Xehanort.

@MandoKeybladeMaster I doubt any of the optional boss fights can be considered canon. If you think about it, it makes no sense at all for Sora Donald and Goofy to wander into Disney castle before fighting Xemnas, and there being a portal leading them to the keyblade graveyard to fight the LS. It talks about Ven, and Aqua and it's hatred of Master Xehanort, it wouldn't add up at that point in time. That stuff is going to be saved for KH3.

@kim6860 at the end of birth by sleep, xeohtort took over terras body. but his heart was so strong his soul came into the armor he was wearing. ever since the 10 years have past his soul(or lingering spirit) has been incarbrenated in the keyblade graveyard. 11 years form then, he was awakened by sora. peps call him that beacuse xehnort took over his body.........phew

@keyblade606 -sigh- It's on final mix, for japan only. It was IN KH2, just not released in US. In the final mix they added more stuff like you could fight the whole organization and you fight Terra (the guy in the picture) who's a billion times harder than sephiroth, and it also adds more story to it. Look up KH2 secret ending and you'll see what I mean.
