  • I don't know about you guys but I think the train was going a little too fast on the curves.

These trains are MUCH more lighter than a real train is...any gravel that gets underneath the wheel all of the sudden can cause the wheel to lift and derail the train. Even on the slightest curves.

  • Its so funny how everyone is like "your a monster for posting this video!" .... you people obviously wanted to see the video if you actually got on youtube and searched for this. Really. Who's the sicko here? LOL

  • I know the person who was driving the train, he's disgusting and a disgraceful human being not just for this but for other things as well. I hope he gets what's coming to him, but i somehow doubt he will.

  • Our of respect for the family and kid...remove this video.

  • I DONT UNDERSTAND!!

  • That was RAW

  • Woah

  • How the hell can 8 viewers say thumbs-up to this chilling video? A little boy died, remember? Ghouls

  • Where is the full video? There is more the kid gets out of the water and films more, it was on other news sites.

  • The Romney Hythe & Dymchurch railway does 30MPH on 15 inch gauge tracks (1 inch less), perhaps excessive speed is a contributing factor, but the track should have been able to cope.

  • @GMSRail That may because the Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway is considered a real railway, not a miniature railway.

  • @platformone Miniture/Real railway is only a definition of scale, the RHDR is often regarded as "one of the best miniature railways in the country" (I don't know of any US RHDR, but I refer to the UK one). Equally, the Moors Valley Railway (7 1/4 gauge), regards itself as a full size railway running on very small gauge tracks - an extension on Sir Arthur Heywoods ideas. The track gauge and loading gauge are the dominating factors, rather than the scale (the RHDR loading gauge is bigger).

  • I have to say I'm appalled. It's bad enough ABCnews is exploiting the suffering of parents losing children like this, but for you to upload this to Youtube is beyond contempt.

  • @Water4Jeremiah Forget to take your nap?

  • @joshpnw2 Yes, young man, it's time for my nap. I must say I envy your youth. It is a wonderful thing to be young and strong. I guess it's not until I got older that I noticed the nights get a little deep and a little too dark for my liking. I sleep during the day now.

  • @Water4Jeremiah Oh shut upppp, you youtubers are compulsive complainers. You know damn well that you clicked it because you were curious and not only did you watch it but you decide to leave one of your cranky comments. I happen to like seeing this Caught on tape stuff, if you can't hack it then don't watch. Loser.

  • @YelimRay lol wow it's only been 7 months since I converted from Christianity to atheism. I must say the things I said back then were pretty stupid. I've laid down my white knight-y-ness and now I'm more of like a little demon in training. :D

I'll accept your rebuke and will make sure to laugh at these stupid little children as they die and return to the blood-soaked nothingness in which they came from.

  • @Spakeinator u spelled my last name wrong

  • Everyone keeps basking the inspector (he deserves it) , but ANYONE that has ever operated or even rode the thing would know that it was going too fast. Some people are just stupid and should never be behind the throttle...big train or little one.

  • Bryson Ziggleheifer is the boy who filmed this. ABC took this video without permission and his dad is mad. Bryson suffered a severely broken leg.

  • the train crashed at the end when the camara cuts off

  • is sounded like the passengers knew they were going too fast. i thought i heard one of the girls say stop this train.

  • wow they wont the whole thing on the news, and i cant blame them this is so sad.. i wana punch the inspector guy in his face for this..my heart truely goes out to the family that lost their son over people's stupid carelessness acts..god bless you guys and im so so sorry for your tragic loss :(

  • I think the train was going too fast. I may be wrong, but I doubt it.

  • Thats horrible oh my god so sorry for the 6 year olds family it looks like the conductor was going a little to fast

  • I heart goes out to the family of the child that died, and to all those injured.

  • God Bless you all!

  • Oh my goodness that is so sad! :(

  • it is obvious to me that the operator was driving the train to fast around the park, with out regard to anyones safe just his way of getting his kicks

  • This is so sad I pray for those kids.

  • omg this is so sad smh god bless the lill boys family

  • DUDE I video taped this that marigrace and annebell in front of me they took my iPod

  • @brysonzig OMG why would they post this on youtube after the police took the phone for evidence man. Man i'm sorry this happened to yall man. And i hate hearing about all the pain and stuff you have to go through for someone eles carelessness! Stay strong bro. I'll see ya around.

  • I live in Spartanburg. This is such a terrible accident. God bless the boy's family, and those who were injured.
