why do you call it a gti vr6? its either a gti or vr6, further more the only vr6 are mk3 you have a mk4 so that leaves you with gti or r32 unless u have one of the lower trims

i dont know what country you live in, but here in the uk there is no gti vr6 for example on my logbook it says:

MAKE: volkswagen

MODEL/TYPE: GOLF VR6

I am well aware they used that same engine in many cars including a VW Transporter van, how ever for the mk4 they did NOT call it VR6 we have the V6 4Motion witch has the same engine i guess and 4 wheel drive but that would be VW GOLF V6 4MOTION and NOT VW GOLF GTI VR6...
