secont is good , more economic with foot hangtime ,the longer you stay in air , the weaker the third pull , it means you're not pulling body under fast . good job
I realize this is an old video but I really like the new technique. My technique right now is much more like your old technique. Can you give me some pointers on how to adapt a new technique like yours? Thanks.
I actually think you look more powerful with the older technique, it's more explosive and you're not really coming that far off the ground. When your loads get heavier, you won't come off the ground as much and with that explosive extension, you'll be able to generate more force to get the bar where it needs to be.
i have to disagree. second is better for sure. still problematic- a little too much air time and i think arms shoudl be more internally rotated, but the load and explode (1 and 2nd pull) phases were better.
Cracky I like your constant never ending improvement toward the perfect snatch. I too am on the pursuit and I'm only 5kgs away from my milestone 100kg @ 75kg BW. I'll be watching your vids and routing for you bro.

Is getting the snatch technique right really difficult or is it just me???

I have a question:
¿why he kinda hits the bar with her hip and then gets under it when performing the snatch?
I'm told by my weightlifting coach that i should lift it with my legs and by rising my elbows.
Is because i'm a noobie in this sport? or is a different technique?

@Trmx24
I agree
I've started OL, and get annoyed with the "older technique" I'm taught when I work with a light weight…
When you want to catch the bar in the low position:
If you explode in the triple-extension, the bar has so much momentum that you brake it (pulling down) when you go down: wrong.
If you want to control the momentum of the bar, you're messing the technique: wrong. The catch feels more natural though.
New technique is easier to control the momentum w/o messing the technique.

BTW… your jump is high for that weight, you're a powerfull boy!

I like the left much better. If jump it should be as a result of the movement not as a conscious 'jump'

I like the old technique better. more legs, higher jump and more extension after contact of 2nd pull

I think the jump was hurting me, you don't think it's better to to do more extension but not waste time jumping in the air?
I felt my problem was not being prepared to hit the bottom most position.
