Never heard of these guys. Not bad. Will never make it big, though. The singer sucks.(I'm kidding,LOL before you all shit your pants.PJ is the best fucking band in the universe, period.no contest.)
I like this album a lot but not much else by Pearl Jam. I can listen to the entire works of AIC...just my opinion but for me Alice in Chains are the greatest grunge band ever.
@TheKrustykrabbypatty Are youfucking crazy ? Guns 'n Roses is the worst band ever, it sucks so bigtime, everything about it is a failure. I seriously doubt they write their own songs. Axl can't sing for shit, and everyone says Slash is a good damn guitar player but the truth is he sucks.
@TheKrustykrabbypatty That's an interesting point and is completely true. I'm not a HUGE GnR fan, but I was old enough to remember Appetite (8 or so). And you're absolutely correct. Lol people born after 1990 should doublecheck before they issue opinions on music of the 90s
@AwesomeSauceLimited ZenDog is right about Kurt being a martyr, but Pearl Jam was definitely not the most impactful band of the era. It was a generation of such soulful, excellent music out of Seattle. AiC, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Pearl Jam and STP were the big 5 without a doubt.
Let's annex Mexico as our fifty-first state, Central America as our fifty-second, and Sth. Am. as our fifty-third; that should fix alot of problems. (Aramis Deceives)
It's amazing how music can take you back. Listening to this song instantaneously evokes images and feelings from a very sacred time in my personal life, as Pearl Jam was an integral part of the soundtrack of my heavily-music-infused, party til you drop 'round the clock existence back then. And listening to it now, it's every bit as relevant and fantastic as it was the day it came out. Just goes to show...great music is timeless in its very nature. What an amazing album.
I can't stand how every time I hear Pearl Jam on the radio Evenflow is playing. It's a decent song, and the drums stand out, but just a tad overrated. Playing the same songs all the time prevents listeners from being exposed to PJ's great library of songs. Vs. is my favorite album though, Ten ranks second.

@ZenDogRadio tbh man i'm not the best one to judge, i'm only 13, but from what i've heard nirvana were the most generation defining band :)

@AwesomeSauceLimited That's because Kurt blew his brains out and became a martyr.

Exactly, evenflow and jeremy are over rated catchy pop style tunes. People should listen to the whole cd anyways, instead of just radio hits.
