  • Is it normal to lean forward in the canter like that, even when anticipating jumps? That's not the "jumping position" (aka 2-point) I was taught.

  • I get so terrified before I go to a show because I'm so scared I wont be able to memorize the courses, or that I will forget them. I love jumping with my instructor and at home and my horse is an awsome jumper, and I have always wanted to compete in jumping, but all I have done competition wise is some small courses at open shows with very simple lines and not many fences. My fear is holding me back. Can somebody please help me get over this or give me advice on memorizing courses??

  • hey I just have a question. I've been recently getting into show jumping and I have a problem of keeping my heels down when I am in the take off stage is there any way to stop this? :) this is a great video !

  • just push em down lol

just really think about sinking into your heels. it helps me to think that i want most of my wieght in my heels, and not my seat
