Inside means "Inside turn" and Outside means "Outside turn". It's used to refer where are other cars compared to you, to warn you of them coming. It's useful in cockpit view... but much less in pursuit view. In this case, Inside means Left, and Outside means Right.

The graphics are really good on this game, almost looks real and it's from 2k. I haven't seen any new arcade machines in a long time, I can just imagine how good they look.

Okay, so when your spotter says "inside," that means another racer is on your left, whereas "outside," means their on your right.

So you know, that's your spotter saying, "Inside" and "Outside". The driver's are obviously not hanging outside of the car, ten feet away and seeing everything going around. Their mirrors are teeny as well. Therefore, they need spotters to tell them if anyone is around them. Inside being to the left, outside, to the right, obviously. At the road courses, they just say left and right.

Next time try to draft one of the other drivers. Trust me the steering does get looser and you'll go alot faster. I used to play this every weekend at my D&B before they took it out.
