From reading all of the comments, I get the feeling everyone had a hard time beating this level. Well, I can't relate; sure, this was probably the hardest boss in the game, but I never really had a hard time with it. It cost me a few lives, but I easily took Clyde out on my first try.

While I've gotta give Clyde credit for being a difficult boss,I can't say he's the most difficult boss I've ever fought..I usually just went up against him with 8 lives and only lost about 3 or 4 lives half of the times.There would be times where Lady Luck would slap me,and get me gameovers though. *sweatdrop*

I do wish that the Pac-Man World games hadn't gotten Clyde and Blinkey's names mixed up, especially considering that Blinkey (the red one) is my favorite and that Clyde (orange Clyde) is my least favorite.

In my opinion, the name Clyde fits the red ghost better. It sounds menacing, bad, and evil...unlike the name Blinky. Blinky sounds like a nickname for someone who doesn't have it all...which fits the orange ghost perfectly.

Out of all people, why does Blinky get the killer frog. Because Clyde is the leader, he should have controlled the frog while everybody else controlled hovering ghosts. I know I would look powerful in a giant frog.

What's also weird is how they got those two ghosts' names all wrong in the two PM World games on PS2. Clyde is supposed to be the orange one, and Blinky is red. How could a company mess up its own character names so badly?

@Thewoog34 The only thing that were swapped were the names. What I meant is that the name Clyde suits the leader (aka the red one) better than the name Blinky. The way I see it, you have the three minor ghosts, who aren't very intelligent or mature, and they all have cute-sy like names that rhyme with each other; Blinky, Inky, Pinky. But then there's Clyde. Clyde is smart, Clyde is serious about kicking your ass, and he knows he's too good for a silly name ending in -inky.

they switched the names around because in the animated show, they put Clyde (orange) the leader and Blinky(red) the cowardly one, even though teh original was called "The Coward". Namco switched their names around so people wouldn't get confused.

I found him hard until i realized, every time he attacks he leaves heat trails behind so what I do to make him really easy is that everytime he attacks dodge by rev rolling to a different platform. He spends most of his attacks on nothing trying to reach you.
