i finally figured out how to put video on a sony walkman without having to download a japanese converter. I just used windows movie maker. Put whatever video you want onto it, and when you publish the "movie" (whatever it is you want), go to more settings, and click on "windows media low bandwidth". This is because the sony can only handle 360 by 240.

I know there's different models, so try it out. It can't hurt. Hope this helps.

use dvdvideosoft 3gp video converter its free download it put the video u want on it then on formats put MP4 video then under presents click on the i pod classic economy its the 7th one down then convert then drag the video into your mp3 player hope it works

mine wasnt working when i used windows vista but I had a laptop with XP on it and it worked fine on there. A lot of stuff dont work on Windows Vista

Interesting, does this re size the resolution as well? As i use a program called format factory that can rip a dvd straight to mp4 but the issue is it keeps its resolution , so i use another program called virtual dub to re size it to the correct resolution (320 x 240 i think whereas the dvds are like 700 x something). Which works fine.

If you to just convert videos you get off youtube and that format factory does the job well, i highly recommend it. but its a little harder straight from dvd.

Thank you so much for this video, ive been tryin to download vids and i thought i was the only one with the no sound problem..Now i have sound! The only thing i did different was change the ".zip" to .rar and it worked. And you dont have to have .avi to download youtube vids, just highlight youtube on the url and type in "voobys" and click download video and put the format in as .flv

Hi, Great video, but I have the same problem as "takenoucgimisora", I downloaded 3GP_converter as you recommended but it doesn´t accept my avi file when I drag them to the box. What do you mean by "converting the avi file to mp4 file first"? Is it not the hole idea of using 3gp_converter to convert Avi file to mp4? Should I use another converter first, and then the 3GP? I dont understand, please Help,
