Somebody's been shopping at Walmart! The stickers work well with the sweet helmet and improperly installed S4 wing... The white wheels are tits, scrotum...
I am not a fan of drifting, but that appears to be more of a kid in the high school parking lot blowin the hides off dads car.
High performance car with a low performance driver...
I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape...and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners in Germany do so :) Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree
@obidya7 Yeah, I could see how someone could debate between the awesome rumble and rasp of the V8 in the 928 or the fart pop of the 968... What a joke! The only time a 4 cyl sounds cool when it revs, is when it's in a bike frame.
The 968 couldn't hold the dirty side of the 928's jockstrap...
If you are that confused, I think you should just stick with a Kia... Or a golf cart.. More your speed I think..
@MeanAsFuck928 HA, while normally I would agree with you about the v8 to i4 were not talking about a honda 1.8 here.... were talking about a Porsche built 3.0 (3.1 in the turbo rs) massive i4, do some research the power to weight ratios between the two are crazy close, in fact the 968 turbo actually has more torque and a higher compression ratio.
there are benefits to the 3.1 that the 5.0 cant touch.. then there are aspect of the v8 that are just pant tightening.
@obidya7 Ha ha, thanks for being able to take a joke... Not many can.
I would suggest a 928, but of course I'm biased... Just thinking of the Borla with msds headers on a 16 valve sends shivers up my spine. Not much else sounds as nasty as that, especially for 1500 bucks, which is about what most 16v go for these days.
Great car! and pretty good job on drifting, this car is incredibly hard to drift. It handles so beautiful and has that wonderful V8 Power. My favorite Porsche of all time. I hope you burned the sticker after you took it off though. I feel sorry for whoever thought it was a good idea to put it on a Porsche.. let alone this one.
Nice job riding that Porsche, that is not easy because the 928 has incredible handling and just does not want drift. It has to be pushed really hard to drift but you did it.
"For only $19.95, you too can lower the value of your car by $1000 with our ghetto fab racing inspired stickers. Be the talk of the town with these dynamic stickers that add a touch of chop shop class to any vehicle. Call now and get another set of fly decals for free, just pay shipping and handling." (not suitable for German motorcars)
c'mon men we dont drift porsches, we drift nissans...if you have a porsche you can afford a nissan to drift. and please get rid of the shitty stickers. nice drift and vid though
Im amazed the cameraman didnt fall over in the start there. I almost got dizzy looking at it. Nice car. But i agree with "sethownsallofyou". You have a beautiful 928. Why u trying to make it look like a supra or something.
im sorry but thats one ugly 928 u got.. the stickes and the rims the only things that make the 928 look like german guy trying to act japanese. and u have a whole dam parking lot/!! burn up those tires and get new ones!!
I own both, 928 and RX 7 both are fun cars. The RX does not even come close to the 928. (FYI) But thanks for raising hell like that, saved me some money on tires! P.S. please get rid of the stickers. A 928 is what it is, a Porsche!
It has stepped over every RX7 from the 1980's. 928's have outlasted and outperformed their rotary counterparts from the same year the cars were sold. Most every 1980's rotary crap from Mazda has been crushed and recycled. And even if it somehow escaped the crusher, there is no way in hell the orginal engine will compete with the 928 today without smoking itself to death.
lots rx7's are still living today. most have never been sent to the crusher. 928 could only never drift because they provoked understeer. poor handeling, especially for a rwd car. and btw most of the 928's are now dissipating away because they are made of junk metal. porsche should have kept the engine where it belonged, in the back. a poor attempt at copying the rx7
you obviously don't know shit about the 928 it is a very well balanced car even more so than the 911 but people weren't ready for a FR Porsche. and how did Porsche copy the RX7 when the 928 came out a year prior to the introduction of the RX7 and design started several years before that? you say they are made of junk metal when really they were made of galvanized steel. value wise a 20 year old 928 is an $11k car a 20 Y/O RX7 $4.5k car, which car is better or do you want to get into performance
oook then, the 944 looks more like an rx7, ive had my 944 parked near one and compared, and the 928 handles very well, rx7's need to much attention to get the same power as a porsche, to high maintenance
yeah i would say get rid of those gay stickers, and the japanese lookin exhaust, but its your car. and try to drift a different way. it sounds like your using the clutch and thats bad for 928's because they off the bat had a fiber belt which would snap under heavy acceleration and clutch engagement issues. so watch out but still have fun. its what theyre for
Its not really drifting much...not that I'd expect the 928 to drift, holds onto the road too well. Although why you would want to just go and ravage a car like that I don't know. Buy a Ford or a jappa for that sorta thing IMO
Not a ban video, but that isnt drifting at all. The 928 is balanced real well and is easy to handle sideways than the rear engined porsches. Only problem is the position of the handbrake on the car
Yeah you can tell he's just getting started in drifting but he's got a great car to start with. As for the hand brake, Porsche's don't need hand brake to drift. Porsche's have enough power to "power over" which means you literally use power to swing out. There's also another lesser known method of weight over drifting where you use the vehicle weight to brake out.
ya know if you got rid of those stickers and put on a honda sticker you gain almost 100hp

Really nice one! Normally one would connect drifting with japanese cars, but damn how similar these are, in the shape that is.
But this drifting technique needs some improvements, it seems to nervous or something like that...
How about putting Keiichi Tsuchiya, one of the worlds best drifters behind the wheel?
Would love to see how he would master this meany machine ^^

Thanks.
