Nice Vid, but you have the explanation of the final drive backwards. A 3.30 final drive means the driveshaft with spin 3.30 times for the differential to spin once. 3.30 driver shaft spins=1tire spin. A higher gear ratio 3.73/4.10/4.56 increases torque at the tires, you spin because your tires don't have enough grip to handle all the torque

i like this. it does help. you do want the car to have the torque the same through out . but also. about your launch. a lot of ppl are using clutch slippin. which makes the car go of the line like a real drag car. mmsg me for a detailed expo about that.

It's not that you raise the front tire pressure...you lower the rear pressure...that's what we do with our drag cars (in real life. and if Forza is actually legit, it should work).

I do his stuff but also when I raise the car go to ur tires and make it so the tops lean out ward.. It looks badass lik a top fuel and helps also fuck tunning every hear just do the final drive at lik a 2.93 or 2.73 saves time and makes u smile when u pull from all the other cars

Nice vid! but what I don't understand is, you say you need to tune so when shifting from 1st to 2nd you end up in peak torque range. But technically it's horsepower that affects acceleration and not torque. Because horsepower is the amount of torque you can deliver in a certain amount of time, so more horsepower means less time to reach the desired speed. So Personally I would prefer ending up in peak horsepower range when shifting to 2nd. Or am I wrong?

@xgelmirx Torque and BHP both have an affect on the acceleration time/rating. A car with 1000bph and 200 ft-lb torque will accelerate much slower than a car with 500 in both categories.

@Linkle2 same thing with the turbos and superchargers, avoid the aspiration conversion for turbos becase incase u guys havent noticed but the turbo gives u power half way thru a gear so your tires spin A LOT more but superchargers give you constant power thru the gears

And here I am again. The main source of my ranting is the ineffectivity of muscle cars in the game. Like the Z28 camaro- it's rated at 290hp, when it is widely known to have over 400hp. same with the "340 hp GTO Ram Air"

many cars that would otherwise easily make 13's 1/4's IRL make 15-16's in the 1/4.

That's also another flaw in Forza, the horsepower ratings need to be more accurate.

Turn10 should just revamp the Class system to a power/weight based system instead of just nerfing AWD like they did. also extend the handling system so you can make ANY car handle good. Like in FM3, I would have a F or E class car that I want to get up to A class, but could never get my handling near the the neccesary amount to be competitive even with all handling upgrades and maximum down force.

If not, Turn10 should really implement power-to-weight I really think it would make the game better seeing how you actually COULD race chevelles against novas and it being fair.
