Grapples ... you mean Clinching??
The Muay Thai Champs are very powerful in Clinching and they usually show this as the winning technique.

is this actually legal outside thailand ? they look a bit young to be competing with just the gloves

Yes, in Japan, some places in the USA, Europe and almost every where BUT you have to have fighters that are fully TRAINED for such a thing.

That is how they fight, the best champs know how to HUG very well and knee strikes are very Powerful. :-)

why is the asian guy trying to keep hugging the white guy? are they tired? cause i haven't watched the other, just went to watch this. kinda boring if you ask me, the guy is just trying to hug the other guy
