i have seen this python when I visited Bohol. the owners tried to set it free but evrytime they do so, Prony comes back home to them, proof that she is well taken care of. I am really sure that she found a home with her owners. as with the cage, it's quite big. she shares it with a flying lemur, an eagle and a hawk. Prony doesn't harm them. The fee is very minimal for you to see and experience Prony, just 5 Philippine pesos or less than 10 US dollar cents. Enjoy!

well, let me see it this way, the filipinos kept the poor snake for commercial interest without looking at its welfare...example, the cage is too small for its size..it should had have a better place to live or just set it free...unless it has tasted human..but not to kill it...

their's a story circulating that, this was not t he original python but a diff. python snake. the original w/c was longer than this one was killed when it ate up uts owner while feeding it...the local gov't. official keep it quite bec. they're afraid its bad for tourism industry..saw this snake last year it isn't that big compare to the picture they displayed it on the corner

21 foot snake=6x5foot tank minimum to be able to be happy

wide spaces kill snakes more often than not

with no legs naturally they are afraid of anything that may expose them to something like a tiger or bear.
