It is the stock Mabuchi RS 540 SH. Have you tried the other pinion on the motor shaft? The power seems adequate for general messing about, with long duration on 3000 mAh battery, but it wouldn't win any races!
@135456975 The motor im running is more than 15 years old so thats proably half the problem. :P I havn't tryed the other pinion because Im not sure what one im using is so I can't justify replacing it. Maybee Ill put a new 540 in it and see how it goes, is it a lipo your running or a NmHh?
if you want to get it going even faster put a black can motor in thats what mine has great for racing at wbmcc
