  • your a fucking idiot you don't even no how to knock it in retard your edges are guna die cause gliding of the edge is a spastics way to knock in a bat . faggot .

    regards

  • @TheSpiers13 Thanks?..

  • @Untouchable385 just restoring peace in the world

  • fag

  • @Sify35 Thanks prick.

  • I am gettin a newberry Krakatoa av herd there really Gud not beeen sponsored yet but hope i do and hpe it's by nwbery

  • does every newbery bat come pre-knocked in?

  • Or just knock it in then go and use a bowling machiene

  • you have got it all worng! oil the bat, let it soak over night in the shed or garage the oil locks all the fibers, all the knock in does is basicaly compact the fibers in thhe impact zone and edges so your bat lasts a lot longer, 3hours the most not four to six after you think yoou have knocked it in get a mallet with a ball on the end and see if it leaves seem marks use the wooden mallet again and then check with the ball mallet

  • u need the extratec and/or oil the bat before you knock it in

  • when knocking in your meant to use the wooden mallet, then use the ball mallet to check if its leaving seam marks if its leaving seam marks u move back to the wooden mallet, u dnt knock in for 4-8 hours u knock in until the ball on a stick is not leaving seam marks then u go to the nets and if its leaving seam marks u stop and u have to knock it in with a mallet again,

ur prefered option would buy without scuff sheet but if it has scuff sheet i would suggest taking it off and knocking in

  • Im sorry son, but you do not understand how the bat works.

Like myself, im not a great player of the ball and so i choose to play off the back foot.

So i choose a bat with a higher middle, so i can punch it away easier whilst standing up.

If you are a front foot player, you need to have a low middle so you get down to it and punch it through covers.

Knocking in for 8 hours is rediculous,

4 hours at max, then you are ready for nets with an old ball.

    NO NEW BALLS

    they are hard

    that will crack bat!

  • @alnicka08 Well everyone has a different opinion on what is the correct amount of time to knock in a bat. There has been nothing confirmed. You can't knock in a bat too much but I do totally agree with the front foot and back foot stuff.

I'm not saying your wrong and i'm right but everybody has different opinion.

  • if you have an extratec cover on your bat and a crack appears under the cover, how do you get rid of it? or do you just not get rid of it? please answer

    thanks

  • @Navman617

If it's cracked underneath, you have probably havent done things.

    a. have not knocked the bat in correctly, or knocked it in but started using it in games with new, harder balls.

    b. have not oiled it enough and so the fibers couldn't bond with the oil and strengthen itself.

    c. have left it in the sun or you have left it in the rain. If it gets left in the sun.

The moisture evaporates and, it cracks.

Or it absorbs and expands and cracks.

Take it back to retailer and ask them to sand

  • @Navman617

if there are cracks under the extratec it really depend on wat type they are, if its a hair line crack u can take the extra tec cover off trying not to pull up the grain and lightly sand the area u should see it disappear, if its a surface crack depends on how deep and how big but if its not to big u can do same but nothing u can do for the bigger cracks unless u see bat maker

  • Mate you know when you knokcing the edges do you know direct on the edges or you knock on the inside of the edge by the blade and edge and tell me how to make a bat light cuz my is really heavy lol????

  • @amanbhalla999 Your best bet is to knock i everywhere on the bat (try to avoid the splice and the back of the bat of course) so hit everywhere aroung the edge.

As far as i am aware there is no real way of making the bat lighter, you may have to take it to bat manufacture and ask them to do it but i don't think that there is aything you can do yourself.

    Hope i helped. :) x

  • @Untouchable385

u can pay money to a custom bat making company to get weight reduction on ur bat.

  • mate really dont now what a splice is it the top part with the handle and sticker attached or somewhere and when i oil the bat where shell i keep it and can i keep it in my room mate?

  • @amanbhalla999 you cant make it lighter its the flipping wood you fag

  • Mate you know when you knokcing the edges do you know direct on the edges or you knock on the inside of the edge by the blade and edge and tell me how to make a bat light cuz my is really heave lol????

  • hey do i need to oil my bat befor knocking or not

  • can you use the mallet with a ball on top?

  • @DeathBringer97 Yes You Cann It Is Called A Ball On A Stick :)

  • i have 2 bats both with scuff sheets or w.e. they are called on them

do i still knock them in the same way?

also, a ball on a stick mallet can be used instead of the mallet u have right?

  • @iTurbanate2 Yeeeh You Still Knock Them In The Samee Way.

And You Can Usee Eitherr. But From What I Hear The Ball On The Stick Is Better.

    Hope I Helpedd xx

  • @Untouchable385

    yea thanks a lot man

  • @Untouchable385 With the 'scuff sheet'.

Make sure you knock for a bit longer on 45 mins or so, on top of the 3 hours.

The reason for knocking the bat in a bit longer, is because the sheet is actually made for helicopter wins, and with debris flying around it helps to have that little bit more protection.

    So it is sturdy stuff.

All in all, it is harder to knock in with the elastic covering aka 'scuff sheet'

  • @iTurbanate2 The cricket ball mallet is used to see if seam marks appear if they do then you need to knock it in a bit more and once they do not appear then it is knocked in.

  • My Bat ;)

  • can you use a normal hammer

  • @1995Spurs dont be silly.

Needs to be softer than that,

plastic or rubber mullets are better than wood.

  • your cricket videos are really good for a kid compared to some I've seen

  • Thanks Man Do I Know You Because You Added Me As A Friend ?

  • @Untouchable385 No I just add people who have good videos and a good channel

  • if u play for warwickshire why arent u sponsored u mong?? liar!

  • Yeh In Actual Fact A Ball Mallet Is Better

  • hey can u just use a ball mallet

  • You Need A Mallet You Can Also Use A Ball On A Stick Or A Ball In A Sock

  • Do you need a Mallet or Can you use a normal Hammer?

  • That was pretty much ll my birthday money !!!
