And I have to agree with him, why do futuristic light sources suck so much? At least they worked in Doom, but your character was too weak to carry a pistol alongside your flashlight. Annoying.

For me, I don't get that scared, like holy-crap-I-shit-my-pants scared. Since I'm so used to scary things popping out in my face, other games that build suspense, like Dead Space, even creep me out more. If you can get a hold of Dead Space, I'd check it out. By the way, find Dead Space: Downfall, the cartoon movie, and watch that. That scared me even more. But that movie is supposed to be a prequel to Dead Space. Check it out sometimes if you want. I'm not encouraging you. I like being scared =D

F.E.A.R. is the single most amazing game ever. The ultimate challenge is playing by yourself, in the dark, with the windows open. Everyone says to play during a thunderstorm, I say not to. It's not as scary for some reason.

Fear didn't scare me that much, AVP2 however, the amounts of times I was running away from aliens being too scared to look behind me was quite alot. Also aliens jumping on my face when I least expected it was quite numerous.
