  • It's still a great, black comedy but I'm not laughing as much now because so much of what was then hyperbole, has come true. Murders in the '90's topped 2,000 a year, waaay more than the 335 in 6 mo. in the film. NYPD today is as corrupt as it was back in the '70's; we need another Knapp Commission. The crime stats are actually way higher than reported. Much of serious crime is ignored as cops spend more of their time ticketing & arresting people for misdemeanors which can be fined.

  • I haven't seen this in thirty years! Thanks for posting.

  • I thought Kenny sounded more like Walter Matthau but Kennedy makes more sense.

Jeez the comedy does get dark in it though...think i need to go for a walk!

  • Interesting that Kenny speaks in what sounds like Kennedy's voice as he reads the instructions on loading the weapon, leading up to gunfire from a rooftop. A reference to the Kennedy assassination, perhaps?

  • fantastic movie ,my fav genre black comedy

  • Love this movie. Thanks!

  • Thanks for this unknown little 70's gem!

  • muchas gracias!! ;0))

  • When they all finally start shooting people at the end, this snaps everyone out of their problems. Alfred finally feels real emotions, Kenny proves his manhood, and Carol assumes his proper role as the head of the family. And Marge gets to hear her family laughing again.

  • Loved it. Thanks!! Missing a few bits though.

  • :)

for me was very strange too

  • That was one of the strangest movies I've ever seen. I really enjoyed it. Thanks for posting it.
