Have this movie on DVD but don't really watch it, cuz it does hurt to see it. MJ was getting ready for his final world tour, and it makes me wish that he did stay around, at least to finish it. I can see, in my mind, that this would've been an awesome tour! But, unfortunately, no one is promised tomorrow. Still, I wish he had stuck around, to complete this tour at least. That thought just makes me shake my head. I'll probably be on my deathbed, still shaking my head at this thought:(

That's because it was only rehearsals, and they probably played over his voice to make it sound like movie quality. That's the same reason he only sang parts of the song. It was just to save his voice for the actual tour. :)

Or maybe he was lip synching in rehearsal in order to put more focus on the choreography (also entirely possible). But at least as equally likely, maybe he would be lip-synching at least on certain songs during the actual performance (see: Britney Spears, Janet Jackson).

I saw "This Is It" on OnDemand earlier in 2010. My reactions were mixed. On the one hand, it was clear he still had something to give, his musical genius was still alive and well, and he still had that undeniable "it" presence. On the other hand, my mom saw Elvis' last concert in Indianapolis (he died during a tour hiatus just a couple of weeks later), and her description of that concert popped into my head as I was watching...still had the great talent, but the body was fading fast.

Considering the time he died and the fact that he had the tour coming up, I found it really weird that he died just as This Is It was going to start. Its as if he knew he didn't have much time left. I thought it was amazing and i never have made fun of MJ, I always thought he was a brilliant performer and his life choices shouldn't affect people's thoughts on his amazing music.

Review: phenominal. 9/10. I say this cuz there wasn't enuff DIRECT interaction btwn Michael and the camera (interview style), like they did w/ the dancers. He's gone and I DESPERATELY sought to look into his eyes as he spoke "to me" casually. I'm very broken Rebbie was the 1st few months, thank God for the Canadian Fan Club.

saw the movie, the major impression I got from the movie is that MJ was a surprisingly humble man. Some occasions when he got upset, he kept the pressure to himself, never yell, blame or give other crew hard time. Very impressive. Once again: RIP MJ.

this was not as good as seeing him perform live, but better... it was great to see him interact w/ all the dancers and singers, he kept saying he wanted to preserve his voice for the concert, the new smooth criminal video was amazing. to see a variety of things that u cannot find on youtube and the internet. he was so dedicated to it, he hand picked each and every dancer and vocalist it was amazing and if i could see it over and over i would!!! ;)
