@TherealRNO: I agree with you on everything except for one thing: I actually thought John Kassir was a worthy replacement for Charlie Adler. And that wasn't because of Jamie Kellner. It's because Adler was upset about not landing a major role on Animaniacs, while less prominent voice actors on the show, like Rob Paulsen, got major roles. He left TTA in frustration and John Kassir replaced him.
It's amazing what the writers of The Pinkie and the Brain got away with. They had already made two episodes mocking the idea of adding a third character, and then this.
Then again, considering how much crap got past the radar on these shows I wonder if the executives even watched the finished episodes before airing them.

@xiannuzi Here is the reason why it was done: the chairman of the WB Network is a slob who only cares about the money that he gets from Madison Ave, not about how good the programming is. Hence, good shows like Animaniacs, P&TB, and Freakazoid met their demises because of this.
You know what. After watching a couple episodes online (which took A LOT of searching by the way) I can honestly say that I actually kinda like this show. It's no where near as good as Pinky and the Brain but it's Ok.

@Unotuchable There's something to be said about the fact that Elmyra is the only character from Tiny Toons that managed to survive as long as she did. That being said, if WB wanted to copy the simpsons, wouldn't it have been better to make new characters and work off that? They chose probably the hardest characters to work with outside of the warner trio. Hell, Hamton's family with random cameos by Porky would have fit that formula better (not saying it'd be good, just not as utterly terrible).

perhaps the show takes place in an alternate universe like most DC comics are (i.e. in this show she attends a grammer school, but in TTA it's said that she is 13 even though she doesn't look like it) I wonder if Freakazoid exists in this alternate universe.
Brain repeatedly appeared in Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, and Animaniacs, and all the other characters kept bouncing around in each other's shows. So. If there IS an alternative universe, the characters can transverse between them, so YAY!
What inspired the network to do this? Was Elmyra's VA the relative of an exec. high up on the chain so he decided due to her/her parents begging to give her her own show?

boy the network executives really screwed up the animation studios of wb when introducing this abomination, I mean right now they're barely starting to recover from a number of flops they had (Detention, the Zeta Project, and more) in the 2000's. So far wb animation has introduced us to batman:the brave and the bold, scooby doo:mystery incorperated, and mad which have been doing well and are great series to watch... lets see if they can continue the trend with the young justice league series.

@xiannuzi Here is the reason why it was done: the chairman of the WB Network is a slob who only cares about the money that he gets from Madison Ave, not about how good the programming is. Hence, good shows like Animaniacs, P&TB, and Freakazoid met their demises because of this.

You know what. After watching a couple episodes online (which took A LOT of searching by the way) I can honestly say that I actually kinda like this show. It's no where near as good as Pinky and the Brain but it's Ok.

Man, you'd think the network would've learned its lesson after the one-off Pinky and the Brain and Larry episode, which was made specifically to illustrate the point that Pinky and the Brain were better off left alone. But noooo... push push push. *sigh* Oh well, at least the writers poked fun at the whole concept in the song here.

@orson12 The new executives at Warner Bros. made the creators of PInky and the Brain make this because they wanted them to go toward a new format with more characters. These episodes were never released on video or DVD; the writers were probably too embarrassed by it, and would probably destroy it if they could. It's like the Star Wars Holiday Special; Lucas never ever released it. It's too bad that the writers were forced to do this; it's really mean when somebody tries to interfere, eh?

@lemonade1531 They sure did, which is why these episodes were never released on video or DVD. I think that the writers were very upset that they had to change it because the new executives want it. They said, "Why change it if it's already good as it is?" Those executives made them do it though. Anyways, I'm sure they never released them on video or DVD because they were way too embarrassed to do so. It's a pity what can happen sometimes.

@knuclear2010 I saw episodes of it I can't believe it was made, it's basically the same as the original show only elmyra makes Pinky and brain do stuff with her as both of the mice try to take over the world the main problem with it was in the lab it's easier to believe they can hatch plans and get the materials they need whilst in the lab. How can they take over the world from a little girl's bedroom if brain failed so many times in a lab? That and Elmyra's annoying

@knytrydr73 Oh, that's exactly why they put it in. Ever since "Pinky and the Brain" was creative, the WB executives kept trying to make them add a third character. The creators mocked the idea in the episode "Pinky and the Brain...and Larry", but a year later, the executives made them add Elmyra anyway.

@Unotuchable How could anyone think Elmyra is adorable?!? The entire point of the character is that she is a HORRIBLE little person! She was created to be a VILLAIN! And an annoying one at that. It's right in the Tiny Toons theme song: 'Elmyra IS A PAIN!"

@Unotuchable There's something to be said about the fact that Elmyra is the only character from Tiny Toons that managed to survive as long as she did. That being said, if WB wanted to copy the simpsons, wouldn't it have been better to make new characters and work off that? They chose probably the hardest characters to work with outside of the warner trio. Hell, Hamton's family with random cameos by Porky would have fit that formula better (not saying it'd be good, just not as utterly terrible).

Notice the school, IT'S NOT ACME LOONIVERSIY! You notice how Pinky and Brain get kicked out of the Warner Bros. Administration building? The new management of the Warner Bros. made Speilberg do this, because he wanted Spielberg to imitate the Simpsons, by adding Elmyra and destroying everything else related to Tiny Toons (which they deemed, "inappropriate for children)

perhaps the show takes place in an alternate universe like most DC comics are (i.e. in this show she attends a grammer school, but in TTA it's said that she is 13 even though she doesn't look like it) I wonder if Freakazoid exists in this alternate universe.

Brain repeatedly appeared in Tiny Toons, Freakazoid, and Animaniacs, and all the other characters kept bouncing around in each other's shows. So. If there IS an alternative universe, the characters can transverse between them, so YAY!

boy the network executives really screwed up the animation studios of wb when introducing this abomination, I mean right now they're barely starting to recover from a number of flops they had (Detention, the Zeta Project, and more) in the 2000's. So far wb animation has introduced us to batman:the brave and the bold, scooby doo:mystery incorperated, and mad which have been doing well and are great series to watch... lets see if they can continue the trend with the young justice league series.
