In the trail trim. My stumpy weighs something like 26 pounds. 2 DH bashguards definately add a lil weight. 800 gram tires and 2kg wheels don't help either

Very nice combination of lightweight and practicality. I like the components selection. My stumpy weighs 22 lbs with race wheels and tires. Its the aluminum version and I'm running X9 1X9 setup with e13 chinning and custom milled chain guide in place of front deraileur. I might swap out the heavy rival saddle in the future. Will drop another 150 grams easily.

My guess is to save weight. Easy 40 grams right there. ; ) Being able to shift more gears at the same time is another advantage.

I prefer the convenience of trigger shifter myself tho.

@JamesKim13 yes but a serious xc athlete will always choose trigger shifters because there is no error of miss-shift while encountering bumps. and i dont know about the weight issue because the sram xx are just as light or lighter
