i was working shuttle bus service this day from roosevelt to 35th, i didnt know what had happen until my supervisor told me my heart and prayers go out to the family and friends of the 2 victims, and the people who were injured.
that day we were being detoured..we went there to pickup some food on wetworth, not knowing what happened..i didn't hear till about 20 minuets after,,so sad.
Our hearts are broken for the families that lost loved ones. My wife and her friends were fortunate to survive this ordeal, but our prayers are with those of you that suffered loss Friday. Our prayer is for peace and comfort. Thank you to those brave enough to approach the scene in the moments after the truck struck the crowd and help my wife and the other victims.
@chicagodogrow... actually truckers deal with alot of hazards daily. We have to worry constantly about everything that is 360 degrees around us. 99 percent of us are prepared driving professionals. Its sad that a tragedy like this happened.
