@antimorons1945 paintball is cool done it loads myself, but i feel airsoft (hate to use the term but) is more realistic, as in cost for one, 7p per round for p.b means 1000 rounds is £70 meaning covering fire costs alot, reloads suck as your pooring balls into a hopper. in a.s its around 5000 for £10 cost is not so much of an issue and mag reloads makes it more effective. as for "a try to be a soldier" i dont agree, i am anti war (todays reasons,ww2 maybe but oil and political war, not 4 me

and modern warfare is different... you no longer go 1 vs 1 against a guy... that's what the tanks and the humvees do :D. we go on the flanks, secure areas so we "camp" as gamers would call it... we call it "position holding", and the spec ops get their asses off a chopper, humvee etc., rush most of the times a building and get away... you no longer need to be that fit... nowdays the ability to fire a gun is more important and that's why, in my opinion, airsoft shouldn't be simply a game.

@shifty1016 that's because paintball is actually useful for the "simulation" purpose that airsoft claims. Range and accuracy are often better. Airsoft is primarily for people who really like real guns and can't buy them, but also dread being hit with a paintball because it hurts a good deal more. This is not me saying that "airsoft is for pussies" because I enjoy both, and am serious about neither. Regardless, you are all wannabe soldiers, but only because you've never seen combat.

Military Training? As a former Scout/Sniper I can testify that we DO NOT rain with ANYTHING related to the ridiculousness that is airsoft. No matter how hard people try to act like airsoft is the real thing, its simply for people who don't have the balls to join up, but want to play the part.

@SCOUTCHRIS you do know some people can't join the military right? under aged, phyiscal/mental disabilities, there are countless reasons why someone doesnt/cant join the military. Airsoft is a way to have the fun of a fight without the worry of actually dying. As of right now the Army reserves and some police units use airsoft for training.
P.S. i do intend to join the navy when i turn 18 but until then ill stick with airsoft.

@shifty1016 that's because paintball is actually useful for the "simulation" purpose that airsoft claims. Range and accuracy are often better. Airsoft is primarily for people who really like real guns and can't buy them, but also dread being hit with a paintball because it hurts a good deal more. This is not me saying that "airsoft is for pussies" because I enjoy both, and am serious about neither. Regardless, you are all wannabe soldiers, but only because you've never seen combat.

@sockschappercat It very well may include them. LMFAO I mean the fact that you know two ex military guys that play means nothing. Even if you knew 100 that played, it still wouldn't change what most players are. I know a couple dozen combat veterans that think it's retarded, doesn't mean it is.
The fact of the matter is, both paintball AND airsoft exist as a simulation of combat. Meaning most of the players think that a fun activity, not having actually done the real thing.

I'm not Asian either. Just thought I'd throw that in :-p. Airsoft is a sport, a hobby. It's a way to enjoy a game of tactics or just downright getting trigger happy without worrying about any of the consequences a real gun would bring. If you haven't tried it then please do because it's fantastic!

For another alternative view. I mean you don´t shoot people for real in the games you play either on your PC or xbox.. But I do respect that it annoys you, if your concidering how ironic it is, that many who play airsoft (including me) don´t have a clue about real terror on first view. But I doubt you´ve shot anyone.

@0neHardDude Probably coz u retard expect the BBs to be ROLLING out of there, but they are actually FLYING with around 400 feet per second (while most cameras only have a framerate of 25 - 30 FPS, so they can't always capture the BBs in flight)!
And also, "WA" (aka Western Arms) is not "Colt", so this thing CANNOT be a real one!
And before u start talkin' about ur oh so cool real guns again, I HAVE shot real guns yesterday (the video is on my channel) and still like airsoft coz it's FUN!!!

This thing DOES have recoil, even if there weren't any weights in it to increase that recoil there would be some coz of the blowback! Only NBB airsoft guns have no recoil (which is totally boring)!

@SCOUTCHRIS you do know some people can't join the military right? under aged, phyiscal/mental disabilities, there are countless reasons why someone doesnt/cant join the military. Airsoft is a way to have the fun of a fight without the worry of actually dying. As of right now the Army reserves and some police units use airsoft for training.
P.S. i do intend to join the navy when i turn 18 but until then ill stick with airsoft.
