1. One who holds an office of authority or trust in an organization, such as a corporation or government.
2. One who holds a commission in the armed forces.
3. A person licensed in the merchant marine as master, mate, chief engineer, or assistant engineer.
4. A police officer.
Are we just assuming anyone who works for the goverment is to be trusted and have authority?

These upgraded security guards have gone way overboard most of them came from Burger King and Wallmart and had a uniform put on them ,and its not just with this but also the sexual assaults called "searches" and then the claims they (some of them) are stealing your gear as you are held up at ther belt. They are no more effective than private companies doing that job we should protest against these sick individuals, yes we want to be safe but not at this cost. Start with John Pistole
