I see the position of head of state of being more important than the purely symbolic role that the Queen plays as the head of the Commonwealth.
Personally, I love the Commonwealth, but I despise the system of Constitutional Monarchy that we hold in my country (Australia). I am not for or against the queen as being there, I would just much prefer it if we had an elected official (instead of the Queen/Governor General) as our head of state.
