  • How the fuck did I get here...

  • Confucius says:

Let's not make gay men die alone, but lets loneliness guide the gay men

  • Well this was Boring and a complete wast of my time.. :P

  • this video is great.i hope u can compile more videos with great quotes like this from these amazing philosophers of that time

  • @RonPaul2008dotcomluv he did state there that he has low iq of 04

  • i heard plato was gay

  • @lowIQ04 : What is your point exactly?

  • @lowIQ04 May i refer you to Socrates' famous "Test of the Three"...

Three questions to filter out rumors before passing them on:

1st: Can you prove that the rumor is actually true?

    2nd: Is it something good?

3rd: Is the rumor useful in some way?

I am guessing the 1st is hard to prove. The second,,, well being gay is neutral neither good or bad (although I am prety surtain some would disagree) it's like trying to deduce weather being male or female is good or bad it is obviously circustantial...

  • [part 2]

as we might give more power or importance or even righteousness to one or the other. And in the 3rd question... well it is indirectly covered by my analysis on the second answer it is not usefull as the fact of Plato being gay would have to affect either gay people by rendering Plato a archetype a model to follow which would imply that people of specific sexual orientations have defined skill sets and tendencies something proven not to be true as all humen have the same potential...

  • [part 3]

regardless of sex, orientations, races or ethnicities unless their logic is being tampered by their culture but still in the end logic tends to survive as it is valid and on the ocation where you where wondering if Plato was gay in order to be provided with an insight to this person's mentality then it should be in the form of a direct question without being indicative of an insight to a truth.

I am not meant to be agressive but i thought it was a good oportunity to bring that up as...

  • [part 4]

in a philosophy related video relating to rumors and this specific rumor is often brought up as many philosophers chose to not mary or leave offsprings and many believe that in ancient Greece many teachers would exchange their knowledge with paiderasty exercised on their pupils.

I still hope my intentions are not misunderstood, Ευδαιμόνου!

  • @lowIQ04 was he?i thnk it was a social norm at the time to go around banging other men.

  • You speeded it up too much....but good quotes..

  • As a heavily Liberal Agnostic Atheist Progressive I like Ron Paul.

Not because I agree with him (which I sometimes don't), but because he's what the Republican party SHOULD fucking be.

  • Democracy is the rule of the mob and what is more shameful to a citizen that he admits to leave his fate in the hands of the number whereas he would not even leave his health in such hands?

What shall prime; knowledge or number? Democracy is surely then pitiful for it basis its understanding of justice over the public opinion and sense no longer matters as much as how many ignorants and illogical men will hold a part over the other.

That is, my friend, what is democracy.

  • And what is more relevant to despotism than a whole favorising the unfairness in their mistake; more compelling and forbiding than many men prefering to hear the most skillful speaker over the most logical man?

That is the despotism of the masses: where the many lead by fear, passion, desires and leave aside their only valuable sense - reason.

But, this is as easy to stop as a dream or an illusion - it requires a handful of humility for these men to recognize their own ignorance.

  • what piece is playing ?

  • You are welcome. Glad to help. This is the reason why I picked this video title and your comment shows that I picked an effective one.

  • plagiarizing? Are you proud of yourself?

  • they knew long ago that we were on this path. It is too predictable to a contemplative mind that all things are forcing their existence to unexistence. +

  • nice! and by the way I think the last quote best represents the united states. lol
