The cars in this show were so tasteless.

Take japanese auto

Add very bright, very cheap paint

Add random $50 decal

Add budget ground effects

Add fake NOS canister

@itsMALS well it wouldnt exactly be hollywood gold if all the cars were simply lowered with rims and had engine mods. you need to take it over the top for it to seep through the big screen. If you ever see a car like that in real life you kinda just laugh

Yeah, I guess that is true. This movie's real value kinda lies in it's being way, way over the top.

But at the same time, it'd be nice to see some more realistic/somber racing movies. Remember Two-Lane Blacktop?

@PhamDC5 I guess... Don't see a lot of nice flush/JDM autos where I live. Here, it's all 4x4 yotas and run-down cars. Even the guys who take tuning seriously can't afford to be clean.

Sometimes I wish neon clearcoat, a 2jz swap and some silly vinyl was still considered cool.
