First of all, no one is making you play the game(so please don't) and if you haven't been stuck in your basement for too long you would have known that pandas are actually more vicious and temperamental than any other type of bear. people dont know that the Pandaren first howed up in the Frozen Throne. Pandaren even lived in Northrend at one point. And there was ahuge one under Hyjal(Tho that was mostly comical purposes) and hadnt it been for Chen,orgrimmar hadnt been built. @lolpol1122 the Pandaren have been around for a while. Go look at past games and they kept the Lore of Chen Stormstout alive. There was a quest in the old Barren that talked about him and if you bought the Pandaren Monk pet Chen "himself" sends you a note with the little guys. So Blizzard has not have gone mad, they may have just taken a side path in continuing the franchise.

(didn't play WC1) WC2, humans elves dwarves, gnomes, Orcs, trolls, ogres, undead. WC3 there was apparently only a minor easter egg in one of the undead levels where a panda face would show on the minimap. but apart from that pandas were really only known in the WC3 expansion and it all started with an april fools joke.

First of It's you who needs to read the lore and play the game.

The pandaren, was placed as a joke, and getting the pandaren brewmaster in the Bonus campaign was still OPTIONAL. That means u didnt have to get him nor it would make any difference to the LORE by getting him. We both played the game as it seems but only one of us got it.
