Great review, however you didn't do the bosses in "correct order". You completely skipped Rocco in the warehouse, and never travelled back to the park to beat Blade. :P
Unrelated comment, but...anyone play the Scott Pilgrim game? I had no idea they referred to this game so much there. I bet if you cataloged all the game references in the SP game, you could fill up a dictionary or two.
i had no idea what a frat or a jock or a turf was when i played this game. and i was 12 years old! all i know is that i beat it and i liked the music when you fight the last boss.
Here's a trick that I know: If you grab a weapon and dash attack then attack again, you'll perform a two-hit combo that knocks the enemy down unless he guards.
Man, I maxed out most of my stats BEFORE I fought Moose! It took a god aweful long time to do it, too. I didn't max them all out because the first mall didn't have all the stuff needed to max everything out.
With Dragon feet and Acro Circus you can not do the running kick hop that ALL enemies do not recognize and/or dodge... it destroys enemies...
run -> jump -> when about to land kick and bounce and kick in a rhythm that allows you to hop... or Dance in a straight line (since it looks like the Russian dance)
My older brother taught me this technique, as well as the Sherman Park blue thing deflects thrown rocks/knuckles and sends them in \ direction, which is random. Well, thank you for teaching!
im completely impressed, this is one of my favorite games of all time, and i am in awe at your knowlege of the math behind it. the item hints were super as well. thanks for your fanatisism! i dig it to the max
Hey, I noticed he did not even mention Metal, or Led Pipes. Which make a Clink noise when they fall, they are also slightly gray compared to the Yellow Wood Sticks. Also, I remember Cowboy Boots, to increase your Kick, or Army Boots, to increase them slightly. The Cowboy boots were about 120.00, the Army Boots were 99.99$. You did not mention those, or are they not important? Sorry if you did, I did not notice. Still, great runthrough thanks.
I did address Texas boots at 4:00, which would max out kick and agility, but their huge downside is that they take up an inventory slot. I talked about how to boost those skills otherwise. You could always just use the password generator. I did not address lead pipes. I usually don't use them since they're as slow as tires, trash cans, and crates, but don't do more damage and have worse range.

Sorry for the late reply, but lead pipes are actually as fast as sticks.
The lead pipes are a good weapon to those who intend to beat the game without using Grand Slam.
