  • Crap... My best is like 30.9!

  • @BlueflareBoltstrike1 same rofl

  • Reporter says that Stefan was five seconds faster than Schoeman???, that she meant was actually one hundred parts:)

  • Holy shit

  • I wonder why he doesnt have any big titles in long course.

  • hey nystrand technique sucks xD look his arms, he doesn't bend his elbow when it's out of the water, and that is a technique that should be corrected when you start swimming :)

  • No it´s very good. Nystrand used to swim with bent elbows when he was a kid but he acually changed it to straight arms over the water and got much faster. I think straight arm recovery are better if u can do it right.

  • eh man, if swim with straight elbows is the correct technique, why he doesn't has the world record in 50m pool, he has the record ina short pool but not in a long one, eamon sullivan bend his elbows and he has the world record

  • Sullivan swim with quite straight elbows too. Take a 2nd look at the 21.28 race again. But what you do under water is more important than straight or not straight arms.

  • The advantage you get from straight arm recovery is that you don´t have to reach forward in the water (like Ian Thorpe) instead you get a never-ending flow in ur swimming and no pauses like when you swim bent-elbows and reaches for water to grab in front of ur head.

The only advantage you get from bent-elbows are that you easier can coordinate.

You know nothing bout this sport.

  • ehm appearly you don't know nothing about the human body and muscles, when the elbow is bended the muscles are more relaxed that when they are straight, so that little relaxing time means more strenght under the water, I'm not saying that nystrand is a bad swimmer, I'm saying that he can improve some of his technique, and if you are considered an expert in this sport you would know that most little difference in 50m freestyle can be the difference between a gold or a silver

  • @Dragonstratoforce its a new technique developed by a chinese swimmer. They try to get the momentum from the twisting arm into the water.

  • haha hon säger "fem SEK. snabbare än Shoeman"

  • Worlds fastest swimmer is Eamon Sullivan (22) a Western Austalian boy...... WORLD RECORD 50M FREESTYLE 21.56

  • Eamon Sullivan has the record in a 50 meter lane.. Nystrand in 25 meter lane.. It' a whole different thing..

  • Yeah, longcourse sucks ass. xD

    Love shortcourse.

  • jump in a 10m pool then,

  • The world record is not 20.93.

  • For the Men's 50 Free S it is.

  • oh shit, my bad, i forgot it was meters.

  • Happens. :D

  • woho, 5 hundradelar!:D Världsrekord på 50 meter med 5 sekunder, good luck.

  • Hah menar det.. Hörde också det...

  • No doping andyswim, training

  • FAn va dum hon e... FEM SEKUNDER? klassiskt...

  • haha 5 sekunder snabbare! Det er faen bra paa 50 fritt!

  • Hahahahah ja! 5sekunder. Då ska jag ju platsa där lätt! :P

  • The commentator needs to learn the difference between five seconds and five hundreds of a second though. ^_^

  • Lovely! It's nice to see that his training finally starts to pay off. :D
