Man that place just looks beautiful 2 fish man, My inshore rod I use for Tarpon,Snook,Jacks,snappers, and kings mack and spanish. Is the Okuma serrano and okuma C3 rod heavy action. Great video I hope I can get out there one day to fish for those Calicos. Great Video.
@EGOTTLIEB12 it really is a beautiful place. True offshore islands, massive kelp forests, boiler rocks, cliffs. Definitely different from the southeast.
@58msd We strongly encourage the Catch and Release of all saltwater bass. They are true sportfish, and should be treated that way. The boat is a Boston Whaler Montauk 170.
@thebassboyz 99% of the time I do catch and release. Not to worry as I am on the east coast. The inshore salt water fish here on the east coast are much more plentiful I would imagine than the southwest coast. Because the habitat is so different. So taking home a few nice tasty fish here is not a problem once in while. Stripers, seatrout, flounder etc. Of course always following all seasonal regs and bag limits
Hey I'm named after this island! woo hoo!!

@halibutman1
A Shimano Curado should fit the bill perfectly. I fish the whole line, and they are the best value on the market.
