I think that if games will eliminate that stupid aim shit...THAT will be the next big step[besides intelligent AI], if you want aim bring the gun to your eye level, simple as that!
@cubansupreme Well it's rather open ended, you dont need to go straight to the mission area you can look for funds for weapon upgrades or just wipe out nazi squads around the town.

Wolfenstein is a game that defines fun: you can play how you like, you're not short on options, you're not forced into things or under pressure, there's a bit a gameplay variety, and there's a rather creative and alternate touch that makes killing Nazis much more satisfying. Other games nowadays lack those factors while some others just go for style, difficulty, complexity, and cliches.

I AM a fan of Zelda, and I love Ocarina of Time pretty much to death. I wouldn't say Wolfenstein is better than Mario or Zelda, but it's just so damn fun. You just kinda have to look at how other games have found other ways to have fun. In fact, what I said about Wolfenstein also applies to Mario and Zelda, just without the Nazis.

@STAMFADERNA I own this game, and it's really nothing like COD. It's pretty free-roaming, for one thing, and your character feels more personalized with the upgrades. It's not just a "go here, shoot everything that moves on the way" like COD is. The multiplayer leaves alot to be desired, but the campaign is fantastic =)

No. It's probably the way they are used to use their tongues when speaking German. Switching to English results in a thick accent. And in Germany EVERYTHING is over-dubbed with German voices. Except for music. So when you watch movies on TV or play games, you NEVER hear the original voices. This means they don't have much reference to proper pronouncement of English words. Same in France and Italy.
I'm happy we don't have that fake voice stuff here in Holland.

I think this game deserve more credit than what many gave it. That said, I'm not sure if its still worth 40 bucks (last I check Steam). But do keep an eye on it during holiday sales period. I'd recommend it for 20 bucks or so

As if sales mean anything. #LOL A good example is a movie like Shawshank Redemption, it had rather average sales but is now considered by visitors of IMDB as the best movie ever. @rpm1096: I only picked the COD games, as they use the same engine as this game, and numerous other titles since 2004! However, ID and Raven always keep reminding IW and Treyarch that they still have a lot to learn from the guys who provide them the technology!

The singleplayer is not bad though.

Iron sights are for complete noob games.. This sequel completely sucked compared to the original RTCW as evidenced by the sales of this game. This game, especially the mutiplayer, was an EPIC failure.

As if sales mean anything. #LOL A good example is a movie like Shawshank Redemption, it had rather average sales but is now considered by visitors of IMDB as the best movie ever. The only reason why this game wasn't well received by some, was because of the poor multiplayer, but that doesn't change the fact that the campaign was way better than any previous WS game.

It's always the same with immature people like you, you don't like one part of a game, so let's trash the WHOLE game. It's the same what people did with COD MW2 for PC; no dedicated servers? Great, let's rate this game with a score of 1 on Gamespot or IGN and all other sites and trash it on YouTibe. It's so fucking childish....sigh

I wasn't sure about this game, and I just got it earlier today and I fucking love it. It's such a good shooter. If you have a extra $20 definitely pick this up, it's good to play for a few weeks, haven't tried the multiplayer yet.

@rpm1096: I only picked the COD games, as they use the same engine as this game, and numerous other titles since 2004! However, ID and Raven always keep reminding IW and Treyarch that they still have a lot to learn from the guys who provide them the technology!

Umm no... there ISN'T more.. that's it. I'm sorry I don't want to sound nit-picky but I really don't think this guy is a good reviewer. After coming from his Bioshock 2 review where he completely praised it even though it's one of the worst and buggiest games I've ever played I'm not to happy. So what? Are you gonna tell the truth or not? If you guys want an honest review what Yhatzee's stuff.

this looks a lot cooler than any halo game i've played. i generally dont like fps games, but i did like the older medal of honor games. i'll definitely be picking this game up.
