I felt bad for Sanjaya on AI. Of course, I didn't want him to advance, but the public kept voting for him when he was not ready. He would try to perform the best he could but viewers would have harsh things to say about him. Sanjaya couldn't leave because he was signed onto a contract; if the producers allowed him to leave it would have been special treatment.

I'm chocked after watching BRIAN WILLIAMS on LETTERMAN last monday night. His remarks: "SANJAYA!WHO WOULD THOUGHT YOU WOULD SAID THAT ONE DAY ON TV?...EVEN YOU DAVE?...WE COULDN'T EVEN SAY PRIVATE PARTS".
