The music? Nah, it's the exact same, because its playback. Its the video quality that affects the sound.

The fact of the matter is that I agree with you, they could've done it live easily, but this is not live - maybe they did not get to decide.

The thing is, when an artist sings live, there are always subtle or less than subtle differences between the live version and the studio version. This is by ear a 100% match to the studio version.

A lot of vids uploaded on here read "live" in their title but often that seems to simply mean that the artist was there in person!

Of course I do think they are both great live performers but that has to be sampled elsewhere!

Well, if you listen to the studio version of the song you'll find it sounds exactly the same. Another good way to tell whether a performance is live is that the voice level should change whenever the mic moves closer or further from the singer's mouth. 'P's and 'B's also sound more accentuated in a live performance.

Yeah sorry to spoil your dream friend but they're not miming at all.There is something called improvisation and breathing during the singing time and it's crystal clear if you pay attention!

I have no such dream, pal! I have seen Almond perform live a number of times and I know how good he is. Mine wasn't a critic! The point is the song sounds exactly like the album version: there is NO improvisation! It would have been humanly impossible for both of them to resing it the same way as they had recorded it!
