  • no filters used, only InGaAs detector (900 - 1700 nm response)

  • Are you using any filters?

  • Short Wave Infrared (InGaAs) camera

  • What camera did you use?

  • I just bought a 10" light bridge. I saw a satellite pass through the field of view on my first night viewing! I thought it was the coolest thing

  • I saw somethign like that in my scope,it was so unexpected,i was so freaking excited when i saw it,i lookedlike i was on speed lmao.

  • nice capture, I always love seeing a satellite cross the field of view when doing some visual observing..

  • it is visible only beginning halfway through the video. look near the bottom. it travels from right to left

  • I'm late to the party but this is pretty cool, I remember the first time I looked at the orion nebula myself, awestruck by the sheer scale of it. Everyone should get to see it at least once in their lifetime.

  • you can find it in the fall just below orion's belt

  • what type of telescope/lens are you using? Which model Xenics camera?

  • thanks!

  • it is in orions sword.

  • satellite only visible on original video...after upload and compression on youtube it was not visible any more

  • I didn't see the satellite. Perhaps you could slo mo it and point it out. I have seen many satellites pass through the veiw finder when I am out viewing. It's always a sweet suprise!
