It would be easier to find the person if the damned police weren't snitching to local crime lords about who the informers are. People know how they get down in chicago. A little money to grease a few pockets, it's hard to stop crime when the police are helping the criminals find out who is "snitching" on them. I don't live in chi-town anymore and I pray for everyone, especially the kids every day. We have 5 murders a year where i live and that's five too many. Imagine 5-600 like up there.

The thing I find most upsetting about the high murder rate of kids in CHicago, where I'm from, is the fact that people just shirk it off as a way of life or as just a fact of life. I have friends who tell me it's not that bad, or as bad as I make it sound. When are we going to stand up for our kids, and make sure we are doing OUR part with OUR own children so that they are not out and about shooting someone else's child? The solution is, every single parent watching their kids.

i read all the details of the murder and i still stay either it was an older child or someone in the family. when it takes this long 2 find the killer they are always close by.they dont get caught cause they know what steps everyone are taking.again i hope im wrong. erika ill be glad when that day finally comes and u get 2 look in the eyes of tht son of a b****. i lost my neice 7 yrs ago and we found out her uncle did it. sad right

I think the gentleman made a very good point, the officials are more deligent in seek for moving violations, parking tickets and petty drug sellers etc. than they are in finding a muderer in poverty stricken neigborhoods.
