I don't see the point, why wouldn't you just use a midi keyboard to play a piece like that? It would take less fingers to play and has a higher range of easily accessible notes.

Because on a keyboard you have every note, including ones that don't "belong" in a particular key or chord. The faderboard lets you set the key, so that all the notes (faders) are correct. That's my understanding of it anyhow.

also I have done this before with my keyboard controller, some soft synths and a dj mixer. its pretty easy, but having it work on faders and come in such a small package is really cool.

4 fucks sake, yea i can use a synth byt you know what? Im a dj, not a synth/dj, by putting these features on a mixer, which is a dj tool mind you, im able to incorporate these organ/synth effects to my djing, so im a dj with more possibility's. not a pianist/synther watever. thank u vestax for giving us dj's more possibility's.

why would someone hate on this piece of equipment. i think there is more you may be able to do with this than a keyboard. you can move a fader faster and in different timing than pressing keys.

Hey any manners out there? Listen to your mom (if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all). I DJ and like to play with bands"think of the show"! Vestax"Faderboard" 1 table and mixer. You see people play the keyboards but the faders?? This is one of the coolest things since sliced bread! Open your minds people and get original. Give props these demo videos and instrument are unbelievable!!

The piano keyboard is just a keyboard. He uses a Faderboard because it has faders instead of keys. What is the big deal? This is a far more versatile piece of equipment, especially for what Shing02 does with his music.
