@dovesatin I use Sculpey glaze. And, you can use nail polish, but you have to experiment with brands because some dry sticky.

I've made penguins before from the youtube person IHaveACupcake. they are really cute and I like to put a bow on them and make them different colors. They are vary easy to make. Oh and also I like to glaze just the eyes and the bow I think it kind of makes them stand out.

@Colorfuldots31 Hi. Thank you!! :) I saw the tools at JoAnn Fabrics - I think most craft stores have them. When there's a sale, I get them for $1 a block, but, normally, they are $2-3 a block. Eyepins are usually $2-3 for 100+ of them.

How long should you wait for paint to dry after you bake it to add a glaze finish on top?

@aGorillazGirl Just wait until it's completely dry before you add glaze over the paint - which could be anywhere from 10 minutes and up; it just depends.

Thanks to this video I was able to make my mom a GREAT clay turtle for mother's day. (much larger in scale though) It was better than anything else I could have found trying to shop for her. AND with the leftover green clay, I made myself a creeper from minecraft! :)
