You can't compare the two. Stevie's is an eight-minute instrumental - Stevie took the essence of "Little Wing", stretched it out, and reinterpreted it. Hinson rebuilt Little Wing from the ground up, and the cover is AMAZING! I couldn't tell you my favorite. They're two different animals.

And though I do love Hinson dearly, Stevie was a better player. Terrible singer, mind you. Better guitarist, technically speaking. Hinson's no pussyfoot, either, tho'! Hats off to the kang!

Saw Unknown at local pub near Univ. of Ala. few years ago. When I first saw the flyers for the show I thought, "This guy has to have a gimmick, so he must suck" . Man, was I wrong!!! A friend talked me into going and I'll never regret it. He had a great stage show and and sense of humor (my sides and jaw ached for hours afterwards from laughing so hard!) But most of all I was blown away by the talent and ability I saw. Had a great time and got his video too.
