it seems like you are in good shape yes the AT trail would be awsome its a very long stretch Georgia to Maine but seems well worth it. I just went to Clingmans Dome April 2 and it was so foggy visibility was 0 and it was raining and about 35 degreess
i was there a week ago..i got half way then had to go back lol couldnt breathe..it was not as clear as it is here...but it was beautiful!!!

I hope to do some backpacking up there soon. I did some backpacking in the Smokies recently and it is a wonderful place!

Yeah, it is. I am hoping to go backpacking in the near future up on the AT around there. Hopefully I will be in better shape then.
