Its strange to watch this because im in this band now in the pit with the vibes and to see the familiar band uniforms but not the music and marching and see someone else play the vibes, its just strange and yet even to see Mr. Mcdonald in it.

This is the my highschool. The drum major is named Hunter Davenport. He is at Ole Miss now. I saw my band director now, Mr. McDonald. Haha it is kinda weird to see him on youtube.

The drum major was good... lol. The low brass was getting muddy towards the end but this is a good show w/ random trumpet parts.

Definitely not the first all-superior ratings in 15 years, thankfully. I was in NWR's band in the 2000-2003 seasons, and we received all-superiors in marching at least two of those years from what I remember. Check out the MS Bandmasters Association website for past ratings if anyone's interested.

On another note entirely, I'm glad to see Northwest building itself back up! Keep working hard and good luck this season!

Well thank you for that insite. Say my uncle graduated in 2003 i think, Nathan Hanson, maybe you know him? and i can't wait till regonals THIS saturday! im so pumped, we will top this by fanominal levels, and i hope we do good.

Yes we did, we got all 1s for the first time in over 15 years. we are so proud of our accomplishment, and also being the 9th best HSMB in the state! bigdaddy, do you mind me asking who you are? and alsot randommaggie?

I've been going to this competition since I was a freshman in 1994. I can guarantee you NWR has gotten superior ratings many years.
