  • Which cards do you find sliding off of the deck? Whenever I have new cards, they are always sliding all over the place. I have dry skin, so it can be difficult to grip the cards sometimes.

  • you should use player's choice sleeves

  • I've purchased about thirty of the 50 sleeve packs of the standard ultra-pros (the new size that came out summer2011) and I have had one or two packs that had sleeves that were cut too short. They here so short that the card almost stuck out of the top. I used ultra-pros to sleeve my cube, and they haven't held up as well as I would have liked. I'm going to try KMC's when i re-sleeve.

  • Also I read somewhere there was some sleeves which didn't made the whole pile "fall" / slip, anyone know which ones those may have been?

  • Tried any "made in japan" ultra pros? is [.] gd [/] JV5CEO for picture.

  • What size dimension card sleeves do i need for mtg cards?

  • Are the Matte Ultra Pro Sleeves (Standard Pokemon size) good? ideal808(DOT)com/catalog/card_game_supplies-ultra_pro_mtg_sleeves/ultra_pro_matte_sleeves_50ct__white/63896

  • Okay thanks that saves me some money then

  • @redwallfan1234 do you think the the kmc perfect fit sleeves are worth it with ultra pro standard ones?

  • @redwallfan1234 I'd only use the KMC Perfect Fits if you're protecting a lot of money in them. However, they do basically fit with all sleeves. :)

  • Hey man Great reviews I checked out all the diffrent card sleeve video's, okay I held the standard ultra-pro sleeves that have the rough back i like them but, do dragon shield sleeves have the same feeling on the back or are they just slick. Thanks

  • @redwallfan1234 No, Dragonshileds are slick back.

  • what about the ultra pro matte sleeves?

  • @Smurfadelis That's the new name... PRO MATTE. They used to just say standard. The ones I recommended were the Pro Matte.

  • @ryfralic so the matte are the same as standard and they have the textured back?if so im going to buy them

  • @Smurfadelis Yeah, the standard are now called "PRO MATTE"

  • @ryfralic Not entierly true, I bought a pack of both "pro matte" ultra pros and the standard ones. and the only difference is that they are also matte on the "see thru side" or as you might say the front side of the card.

    So they arnt the same.

  • @Crovaxx2 Oh, that's right they now make smoked or matted fronts for other various games. Forgot about those.

  • @ryfralic I dont think its the same thing, i have the ones your showing (standard) and the Pro Matte ones. I use the standard ones on my legacy deck (Black), and i have recently purchrased the Pro Matte ones to try it out (Red), im using the red one on a dredge deck i just got, so far so good, it definatly appears to be much better quality then the older ones, they fit, look and feel better. I have also heard they are laser cut, and if you look at the sides you wont see any extra plastic...cont

  • Today i was checking my legacy deck as im getting ready for the regionals and as i inspected my sleeves more closely iv noticed some extra plastic coming off the sides of the standard one, on the top right side of the sleeves (about 3 sleeves), so i replaced them, when i removed the cards from it i noticed that the extra plastic has made it fragile, it broke really easily when i removed the cards, i dont see that problem on the Pro Matte ones, the corners on my Red ones appear to be flawless.

  • @StoutNerd Interesting, I haven't had that problem. What it could be, and what I've experienced, and this happens on both, is that if you bend the corner at all, they can start to peel, which some extra plastic will show. However, it could also be a factory error.

  • @ryfralic Yeah. I would recommend the Pro Matte ones, get one out and let us know what you think of it in comparison, im thinking its probably the best out there for championships, dragonshields have too much glare for it, and the Pro Matte ones seem to be really well made.

  • @StoutNerd I like the Pro Matte, I'm definitely a fan. My method is like this... EDH = Dragonshields, Modern & Legacy = KMC, Vintage = Pro Matte.

  • @ryfralic Why? Whats the difference between legacy and vintage in this case?

  • @StoutNerd Because my Vintage was originally sleeved in KMC perfect fits then inside black pro mattes... I really don't want to take them out! :P

  • I really like the texture on the back of the ultra pros was hoping to pick up some more. Unfortunately the local store doesn't carry any of the decent sleeve brands. Had to get fantasy flight supply ( never heard of em before), and so far not really impressed

  • I love Ultra pro's, they are my favorite.

  • TBH once I bought a pack of white ultra pro standard sleeves and they were somewhat miscut :O quite a few were shorter than others.

  • @MeltingCake From what I gathered; Dragonshield you expect to have miscuts and you have them all the time. Whereas Ultrapro it's more of a rarity and much fewer get miscut.

  • @MeltingCake Interesting, I've never once had this problem. Well, which Ultra Pros were these? Anyways, I've been buying Ultra Pros for a long time and never had this issue... I'm sorry to hear that you did.

  • @ryfralic It was just a standard white pack. but at least they are quite cheap so getting another pack wasn't too bad :D
