How do I maintain it by washing it every week without having to twist it over? cuz I dnt kno how to do it my self cuz I'm a guy thts why I take long to wash it way do I do ?

  • love this because i just did all of these, the hot oil treatment was the bomb my locs feel soooo good right now, I also use Jamaica Mango and lime cactus oil and that baby is soo good for hot oil treatment.

Plus you have to hydrate, that helps keep your locs well hydrated

  • @Aishaoaktree1122 That is sooo true. I was thinking of even adding that as a note in my video. You must drink water to keep your hair and skin looking good.

  • what type of "grease" do you use/recommend?

  • @tha1Gemini24 I use Indian Hemp

  • one more thing how many times should i do that

  • @saintpaulkid once a month. If that's too much, then every other month, you have to try it to see how your locs feel afterward.

  • this helps alot i have that problem i think imma do a hot oil treatmeny

  • @SheritaBolasingh I only put it in after I finish my wash and before I style.

  • I'ma watch this video over and over, cuz I know each time I would watch this, I would find some new info. So don't mind my question!

So what goes first. Should I put in leave in conditioner in first, then hot oil treatment?

  • @LeslieMoniqueTV I would do the hot oil treatment right after the wash. Leave it on for an hour and then wash really thoroughly. The leave in conditioner would come after that. Thanks for watching :)

  • makeup looks off the hook!!! and you look radiant!

  • @OneikaTraveller thank you :)

  • makeup looks off the hook!!!

  • do you still recommend leave in conditioner on two month old locs?

  • @shondabundy84 no I would suggest it on mature locs only. For now just use coconut oil twice a week on your scalp.

  • I feel the same about coconut oil its great for your hair and your body too and on toast lol

  • @misspotential LOL!

  • Thanks i need this

  • @sheena5367 You're welcome!

  • I JUST LUV ALL YOUR VIDEO'S. I LOVE THE PIN UP LOOK SO CUTE. HOW CAN I KEEP MY LOCKS SMELLING GOOD DO U HAVE ANY TIP'S.

  • @beyoundblue Wash frequently, once or every other week. Make sure they are dried thoroughly. Other than that Jamaican Mango and Lime has a mist that's just to make your locs smell good. I forget the name, but it smells really good. Jojoba oil smells very good too.

  • what do you do about the scent from the coconut oil? I live in the caribbean and the scent is really really strong! It's not the artifical coconut smell either. Just wondering, great video tho

  • @jaxxy2000 I use expeller pressed coconut oil. I am sure that in the Caribbean what you get is far more pure than what we get here in the US. Actually I remember the scent from Jamaica and it is very strong. I wouldn't use it pure, try to find one at a hair store. If not, olive oil is good too.

  • Yaayy, thanks for this video! :o) Love the makeup too!

  • @cymonebreathe Thank you :)
