  • I wish..

  • They had to work together more, not by themself.

But els tahat they are so good!

  • i'm dacing this with my friend in my ballet school's production of 'swan lake'. i love this music :)

  • the attitude on a "bent leg" is a fondu. Which is perfectly valid, in fact common in ballet, especially when coming down from a releve. I think these 2 have such a lovely open line in their attitude that the fondu just creates a deeper, swan-like line. Also, i'm pretty sure this dance is traditionally done as either a duet or a pas de trois (but i might be wrong on that). Oh and Evanescence doesn't rock!

  • nothing in ballet is illegal. It is the choreographers choice whether or not he wants to break rules. Their is no rule book that says what you can and can not do in choreography. the pas de quatre is a different section which you can see on another of the videos from balletstellar

  • it very startlingly unnattractive when you have an attitude on a bent supporting leg, which is why in ballet it is almost illegal. i wonder why they do it here... other than that, and the fact tht i thought it was supposed to be a pas de quatre like the little swans, it was good XD

  • @EvanescenceROCKSS it depends on how many soloists you have, it can be (and has been) done with 2, 3 or 4 dancers. Yes that position isnt the prettiest unless you have a flexible back. I'm sure if you see any Russian do it, it would look much nicer. The choreography is the same as the Bolshoi with a couple of changes.
