    just make a new reply to your ticket ad upload the scan/photo

    but it is about the end result it just takes some time , no other support system so you have to deal with it.

    but it is not really about the numbers , sometimes something happens that floods support you cant plan for that with staff.

  • @Belial1247 fast and good are not the same thing , mistakes happen but steam support is pretty good.

    live support will only slow support down for everybody.

  • terrible support i moved steam onto my larger hdd so i can make room on my smaller one and it tells me to input my 4 digit code. Yahoo's sign in doesnt like me and it wont let me in so i cant access it. I contacted them 54 hours ago and no one has responded back im currently waiting for skyrim (have it downloaded, just need steam to work to instal...)

  • @Nevistrix if you added your proof of purchase to your ticket and asked for an email change(lable your ticket correct) they are pretty fast.

    if you failed to do this it can take a bit longer.

    if you move the whole steam folder to a new HDD you should not need the steam guard code the info is in the steam folder in a file that is named like this "ssfn1549801221789245283"

  • @cockroachnet i couldnt get to the code in the first place so i need the new one sent to the new email it got fixed after about 60 hours yesterday i had all the things on my ticket with proof of purchase and everything theyre just slower than heck

  • @Nevistrix 60 hours aint that bad , you can count on it that problems like this always get solved by steam support.

    don't forget to disable steam gueard

    settings>manage steam guard.

    steam is secure enought with out the extra security if you are.

  • Steam support system really sucks,i have been waiting for 3 days and they still havent answered my question(Bad Company 2 is not working,its says its currently unavailible),i wish they would uptade the support system like the Origin one,where you chat with a support assistent from EA,unlike using Emails...

    noting steam support is going to tell you about your problem that has not been posted a few million times on the internet.

    steam support answers me in a few hours when I make tickets , but I don't ask them about problems I can fix myself

    try if the servers are busy in windows safemode+networking.

    google "steam verify game cache files" and "cleanly reinstalling steam"

    it depends on what you are asking and how you ask it , keep it simple.
