  • saw them live at warped then with drop kick murphys and street dogs and stiff little fingers great concert never gets old i was getting into a full convo with the lead singer it was intense

  • THEY SAY SIMPLE PLAN, I SAY STREET DOGS. HAIL THE COOL MIKE McCOLGAN. GREETINGS FROM THE PHILIPPINES.

  • @mabuhayguy because punk never is about fucking money, u got that right dude!

  • in the last 2 months i saw street dogs, dropkicks, anti-flag and NOFX woooo!!

  • @radicalroots87 Gotta love NOFX

  • @radicalroots87 lucky man

  • @nofx1990uehe MC5 was the first punk band really. They were playing in the early 60's im pretty sure they are technically labeled as either garage or proto punk or something gay like that. And all these bands are all fairly mainstream, so in a way i guess punk is kinda dead but you should really get involved with your local music scene and you might find out that isnt all the way true just yet.

  • Street dogs, the casualties, the rabble, the exploited, nofx, anti-flag, rancid, wizo, slime, pennywise, dropkick murphys, the unseen, bad religion, the bouncing souls, toxoplasma, the vandals, millencolin, sick of it all, propagandhi, the offspring, donots, social distortion, against me. oh my good punk is dead :(

  • @nofx1990ue I still listen to many of those bands!!

  • check out the punk rock bowling in Vegas. so cool! goto punk rock bowling me first on the road again.

  • ew.

  • WARPED TOUR!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • this band has easily becoming one of my favorites :3

  • hope they play this in fort collins next month

  • I bought Energy at Hot Topic, I saw one of this band's albms there, I'm getting it now(: I love this band.

  • If you're lookin for punk rock you should go check out Second Hand Sex!!

  • great song. a very underappreciated band. a pity.

  • Great song, heard it for the first time this morning on radio 1's punk show. Needless to say it perked my up and put me in a great mood for the day!

  • And why the hell would you waste your time bitchin abuot Hot Topic. I bet you bought a fuckin shirt there and your too much of a bitch to admit cause you wanna be "punk". I ahte stupid people who bitch about stuff that has no fuckin relevance to anything. Just enjoy the fuckin music.

  • Hey fuck stick! Seeing as the Exploited were one of the Oi! bands that was in the punk movement. They're so "mainstream" Shut the fuck up and learn your fuckin history. Deal with the fact that Punk is dying. A lot of music is dyin because of bands like bring me the homo and shit like that. Fuckin ignorant asshole.

  • fuck i love this song, i remember seeing them live, was fantastic, they played with flogging molly, skindred and time again, was a fantastic night

  • forgot that faggot commercial gutter punk this is working class oi Ok the exploited and GBH sucks, if hot topic was REAL punk they would be selling patches and tons of music not skinny jeans and lingerie or hip hop t-shirts why dont the REAL punks enjoy some Street Dogs, Clash, Pistols, Ramones, Flogging molly, Flatfoot 56, Dropkick Murphys, Cock Sparrer or anyothers missed that are passionet about were they came from, and what they stood for, and who they were thats REAL punk.

  • @TheScreamChild i listen to all but one of the bands you mentioned and hot topic is one of my favorite stores. you can go on their website and get flogging molly and dropkick murphys stuff. they DO sell patches and music, along with other stuff. they don't claim to be exclusivley punk, its just for music fanatics of all kinds.

  • @punkhardcore69

FYI THOSE BANDS are why punk exists in the first place. Show some respect.

If you stepped up to the punks in my neighborhood thinking you're the shit cause you listen to MAINSTREAM punk like GBH and Exploited you'de get your ass kicked back to Hot Topic.

  • Im just gettin into this band, and im gonna buy one of their albums, which do you guys consider the best. Keep in mind im new to these guys, but by no means new to punk.

  • @PunkxCherub

I would recommend you getting the albums "Back To The World" and "Fading American Dream". I didn't care for their last album "State Of Grace". They also have another album "Savin Hill", which happens to be their first album.

  • @xTheJohnstax pretty damn good album

  • @xTheJohnstax savin hill and back to the world def there best albums but i honestly cant say they have one song im not pleased with

  • @PunkxCherub

In my opinion, Fading American dream is by far their best and most mature. It caters more towards the Blue collar demographic and has some strong political undertones. Savin Hill is a close second for me. Savin Hill feels more punk than any of their other albums Their newest album, Street Dogs, isn't to bad but it's definitely the weakest.

  • @PunkxCherub In my opinion this is clearly their best album. If you like the hard driving guitar and drums then Fading American Dream is the most consistent album that delivers that. I would rank their albums in this order:

    1. Fading American Dream; 2. Savin Hill; 3. Back to the World; 4. Street Dogs (the new one); 5. State of Grace. And State of Grace is a distant 5th.

  • @PunkxCherub Buy every single one!

  • ive seen some comments about the ramones sucking. well im very glad that im not the only one who thinks that. ramones, clash, sex pistols were just trying to be rockstars from the very start. if it wernt for bands like the exploited or gbh keeping it real then punk wouldve died.

  • @punkhardcore69 You kids are adorable. What with your little cute studs and mohawks.

  • @tylertitancycle i dont know why u think exploited and gbh are kids. they came out right around the same time as the clash and sex pistols and ramones. only difference is bands like exploited gbh conflict subhumans etc kept punk underground and clash sex pistols ramones were more commercial

  • @punkhardcore69 I don't think they're kids. I think YOU are a kid...in that no one in the right frame of mind would write such an inane comment over the age of 17.

GBH, Subhumans and the Exploited formed well after the Ramones, Clash, and Sex Pistols, and have all equally admitted they wouldn't ever started if it wasn't for that first wave of bands.

  • @punkhardcore69 The major thing Exploited, Subhumans and GBH contributed to punk rock was fashion....which makes it very ironic you claim they're un-commercial, considering places like Hot Topic and D-tox have built their franchises on the same fashion statements made by those 3rd wave uk bands.

  • @tylertitancycle it wasnt all fashion and they def wernt commercial. however the exploited did kinda start a fashion thing which kinda sucks

  • @tylertitancycle oh and i dont have a mohawk

  • Ramones suck.! everybody says "they are the first punk band". you guys are dumbass, no one can really say who the very first punk band is. Btw, listen to Left alone, Time Again, Social D, Street dogs, Bouncing souls, GBH, The U.S Bombs. that's true punk.

  • @giutar24 no....that's a bunch of bands who wouldn't exist if it weren't for the Ramones.

  • @giutar24 they were the first punk band! And in this time it was the best punk band and without the ramones punk wouldnt be there! the music wasnt like today, they had no technicals things and nothing, so shut up and read some books abaout the punk history than you know more about it, of course are the today punk bands much better than the ramones, but the ramones made music 30 years ago you idiot, say me any better punk band at THIS time

  • can you post "Don't Preach To Me"

  • Parabéns street dogs pelo som punk rock, muito mellhor q os emocore q rola aki no brasil =/

  • i love both bands, the street dogs are my first love tho then dkm....... also the briggs

  • how can antbody not love this song its so great

  • toonsis, obviously you don't know DKM that well, they started as working class union kids, he left to follow his dream of being a Boston fire fighter, and the Sreet Dogs have a lot of great songs, just open your ears

  • eieio

  • Mike misses DKM and DKM misses Mike. He was a fool to leave. I love this song but the dogs dont really have that many other good ones and babble about unions too much

  • gtfo

  • WOW!! This is why I "left" DKM, they don't have Mike!!! Boston Irish Punk is incredible. Can't wait till they come to cali

  • sam em at the slims when i was 16, great show, i just was pissed cause i wasnt allowed out to smoke, was bullshit

  • One of the best Songs ever! Definetly

  • absolutely love it

  • saw them in Chicago! great show!

  • saw them in Newcastle supporting flogging molly, the singer hit someone for stealing his sunglasses, good times

  • Not to long ago i went to one of their concerts and i met mike (singer) and took a pic with him and its weird cuz my sis knos him like a frend IT WAS AWEOME!!!!

    I LOVE THEM!!

  • real music.

  • saw these bac last year and just seen them in bristol a couple weeks, i gotta say they are one of the best punk bands of this era, fucking rebel hard mike is one of the greatest front men out there , cant wait until their back touring their new album, which i think they said is gunna be done..in a quite few months next year sum time. 5 *'s wiked post mate

  • Not to often do I think it a GREAT punk song, but this one is up for thr top 10 of all time!

  • *sigh* why cant we all leave some positive compliments?

    like HEY THIS IS AWESOME!

  • just shut the fuck up about whats punk and whats not, no one gives a shit what you think. so dont tell the world about how you stereotype bands into different genres. thanks assholes.

  • what the fuck does "not created by the actual band" supposed to mean?

  • it means, this song is not actually street dogs, it was really created by Rick Astely, and he just had street dogs play it.

The song is street dogs, just they didnt make the video.

  • dick head rick astley just a wanker he would create a cool song like this go get a life and stop listening to rick astley

  • um it was a joke but ok

  • or sorry dw then :@))

  • My Life in Black and White are opening for these guys in Portland on Monday.

    Talk about a dream bill!!!!

  • love love love this band and song!

    just saw them live! sick!

  • blink used to be punk. Like dude ranch.

  • Totally right about that girl!

  • but the best punk band ever are the RAMONES

  • @TVdodal Ramones rock. Mine is NOFX

  • @TVdodal Ramones rock. Mine is NOFX

  • @TVdodal

    Ramones are crap sorry

  • no didnt say that..but theyre a thousand "punk bands"..but only 10-20 are good..the rest sux

  • i fucking love this band! they are the best band period!!

  • i love this song one of my favorite and this is my favorite band or at least one of them! they kick ass and i have seen them in concert 2 times!

  • This Band is the best punk band who is still alive

  • um... yea... no.

  • street dogs are one of the last punk bands who are still alive..the others mainstream and only for the money

  • and this is coming from a fan of blink 182... highly considered the biggest sellouts in punk.

  • yes im blink fan..because i like theyre music..but blink is not rly punk

  • so what your saying is that NOFX, The Sex Pistols, Pennywise, Rise Against, Teenage Bottlerocket, Voodoo Glowskulls, Sick of it all, The Exploited are all dead? wow. I never realized how mutch the world sucked.

NOTE: these band were all off the top of my head.

  • Rise Against is alternative but not punk i love thme but they r not punk

  • Yeah right dude, Rise Against not punk?

  • Haha dude, check out their song To The Core. They're definitely no pussies ;)!

  • rise against is alternative notp unk

  • Explain please?

  • man, there are WAY more punk bands that are still alive dillinger four, swingin utters, strung out, strike anywhere, propagandhi, flatliners, lagwagon

  • don't forget, DRI, ten foot pole, the faction, left alone, time again, agnostic front, the disasters, 7 seconds, h20, and many others.

  • well said skatepunk, hah

  • thanks

  • @skatfree did you actually say Pennywise and Sex Pistols in same sentence.... Pennywise, rise against, nofx are pussy shit pop bands they dont hold a candle to the sex pistols or the exploited.....

  • @skatfree Dude you need to go do some research.....cause the sex pistols were pop punk back in their day and they sure as shit are now, Everyone tries to always say oh hell yeah the sex pistols are responsible for bringing punk from the underground, Fuck that, That is not what happened at all, and pennywise, rise against and nofx can be labeled as bands that brought punk back to latest generation, well i'd give that one to Rancid more than anything, but seriously man that was idiotic to say

  • @russianagent41 hey little boy you know shit. Even seen the sex pistols live in the 70's? didnt think so....you a musician in a band? didnt think so.. shut the fuck up and go educate someone else. I got socks older than you. I was in the scene before you were a sperm cell.

  • @russianagent41 these new pop punk bands thrive for attention in the corporate music world, sell outs. The Celtic punk bands are some of the last bastions of working man punk rock...Piunk rock has always been here since the 70's dont need any "boy bands" "bringing" corporate plstic fake ass pop punk to a new generation of American Idol kids.

  • @pitbull8myguitar Ohhh...come on man that's not cool. NoFx kicks ass...

  • @pitbull8myguitar

NoFx is straight man. they have probably playing punk longer then you have been alive, or close too.

if they were pussies, they are the only pussies i know that can play punk rock for over 25 years.. just saying though, bro..

  • @pitbull8myguitar

Dude know your history do you know how the sex pistols originated? i think not by what you are saying here..

The Sex Pistols was probably the most sell out punkband there ever was. and do you know how pennywise, nofx have come to where they are know? by dedication and hardwork!

don't go waving flags if you don't know what they stand for.

  • @poirecitypunkrocker Piss off little boy. I got socks older than you.

  • @pitbull8myguitar

    Owned!

  • @pitbull8myguitar

and if you think age matters you really don't know what you are talkin about.

  • @poirecitypunkrocker spoken like a true little kid that doesnt know his ass from a hole in the ground.

  • @pitbull8myguitar lets just say random things to peolpe on youtube because i'm older and thus i am smarter... if you don't have a comeback argument it means you lost the discussion and this means you lost to a "little kid" so hope you're proud of yourself.

  • @skatfree

A Wilheim Scream, The Scandals, Teenage Rehab, Evacuate, Screams of Silence, Foose, At No End, Bonesaw, Knocked Out Cold, etc.

  • dont worry ppl are twats i know what u meen i maybe 12 im not stupid though lol
