i use manual through balls to get the ball over the defence to my strikers. To get score from 30 yards out you just got to get used to how much power to apply on your shots, plus on Fifa 08 the keepers are crap so that helps too lol

I wanted to know, when you are like 30-35 yrds out...on PES u can just shoot and it wud go on target but on FIFA u need to press something else otherwise it goes horribly wide/over...what do you press along with the shoot button?

This difficulty was definatly professional, i dont have Fifa 08 nemore so i cant really play you.

To find ur stats im not really sure cos i noticed that easportsworld seems to be missing the Fifa 08 section i'll look around and see if i can find it.

i've never attempted to score with the goal keeper on Fifa 08 it would be quite hard on professional or higher difficulty

The difficulty was on Professional which is the default setting, it the easiest difficulty but it's not exactly hard either.

The default difficulty is semi-pro. You can tell this is certainly amateur or maybe semi-pro because of how easy you turn with the striker after a pass or how the goalkeeper often doesn't move when you do a long shot.

The difficulty was Professional i've said this many times, scoring long shots on this game is too easy because of the goal keeper bugs. I don't know why people think this was below professional difficulty like Professional's suppose to be hard lol

At the time when these replays were uploaded the difficulty was on professional, and yeah the defence is shit on Fifa.

Quick question.....how do you do those lobs over a player? I can do lobs hitting Y + LB but i can never get the ball to go almost virtically up. Some of the lob passes i've seen on youtube amaze me, i can't seem to figure it out.

The lob passes i do are done with (Y + LB) make sure you have Manual through balls set to "manual" rather than assisted, you should find through passes alot better on manual :D
