you sing it SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO badly
bahahaha you have the pronunciations allll wrong(: i did it for chorus its (english way) vay-nis-men-cha...and then hava-nah-ray-nin-nah and oo-rue-oo-rue-ah-chim and then idk how to explain the rest...but good on the piano!!!!!
hello, i downloaded notes by hava nagila ang when i watched your video i saw that you used chords but in my notes there other buttons, can you explain?
Thank you for the positive comment. I did not pronounce the words correctly when I tried to sing it. It is a difficult song to sing if you cannot speak Hebrew.
What kind of Casio keyboard is that? And is it a 61 key? I need something smaller like this, cause I hate running back and forth to my other piano and back to my computer. Great job, I like this.
This is a casio 3500. I also own a Technics KN 6000 that allows me to lay down 16 track plus it has a lot of great accompaniment patterns. However, you are taking a chance if you buy these older keyboards on E-baylike I did. I had to take it to a shop to get it repaired. A better keyboard than the older Technics keyboards if the Yamaha 1500. Yamaha bought out Technics keyboard technology and now they are implementing it in their own keyboards. The vocalizer is great on the Yamahas.
You asked.... You are a Professor.. We ask.. On Piano.... Jelly Roll Morton, The Pearles..... Old Yiddidhe from New Orleans here. BTW, We have an old 1914 Estey. You are welcome to play it; been tuned from N.O. to Fla.; National Registry Hist. Reg. Piano. Federal cert#79223PIALAUPRIGHT233, Estey 1914. Your chance to play a piece of history. Write at your leisure.
The lyrics: Hava Nagila 3X V'nismecha (2X) Hava N'rannena 3X V'nismecha (2X) Uru Uru'achim Uru'achim B'lev same'ach 4X Uru'achiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim:-P B'lev Sameeeeeee'aaaaaaach! [come, rejoice brothers, be cheerful with a happy heart!]
There are a lot of people on YouTube who can sing this song correctly. Just start listening to the Jewish people on YouTube who sing it and you can pick up the correct pronunciation. My pronunciation of some of these words is not quite right. But, it's the best I can do since I am not a linguist.
The words are hard to pronounce if you do not speak Hebrew. The song is usually played faster than what I am playing it here. It can be a challenge for beginners.
Thank you so much for posting this! I have been dying to learn this song and you have made it inexplicably easy for me, an untrained, unexperienced piano player with a small piano sitting in her living room dying to be played... THANK YOU!
This is an amazing lesson. You have done a great job at clearly presenting the techniques. Your video is really clear and you speak so that anyone could understand you and what you're presenting. I'm looking forward to seeing more of your lessons!
Hopefully some day we will meet and you can teach me all of the complicated songs that you know! I already have a piano teacher and she just loves the way i never take no for an answer! If i want to play a song i will get it no matter what!
Determination is a very important part in learning the piano. What helps to build up your determination is to watch as many piano players as you can on YouTbe. For example, if you watch Pianoplaya123 perform his classical repertoire you become inspired and more determined to bring your playing to a higher level.
Dang right i get inspired! I have a book simply titled "The Library of Piano Classics" and every time i see a song that looks complicated i ask my teacher to play it and i almost always want to play it! Oh man! This video just reminded me that i have to remember the song by the time of my Bar-Mitzvah! Oh man i can't remember!
Love it! I think your are just cool, even tried singing it.

Thanks John,
That was very good. I shall try to put
that in practice. A well known and very catchy
melody. I can't sing the words yet but let's never forget the tune.
Best wishes to you.
