Superdude is still alive and playing music at nearly 70. He is the person standing right behind Andy in the photo on sonicbids.

Unfortunately the building no longer exists, it was torn down some time ago. It would have been neat to go there, though.

Well there were actually multiple buildings where he housed the entity called the "factory." Unfortunately the one everyone is interested in seeing no longer exists the Silver factory (pre-1967) was demolished in i think '72. But the studio building that he was shot by Valerie Solanas in still exists...It's at 33 Union Square west....its a tall tan row building with a balcony on the 6th floor (his studio) Plenty of people leave Campbell's cans out at the door when they visit..
